The 2nd rd of the 1st fight this season almost put me to sleep.

I dont know Brock evaluate them, then we see a guy like Shamar (with good wrestling) go to JDS haha kinda funny.

Yeah they air it at 4.30am Friday morning American EST.

I thought both coaches were fine. JDS seems like a cool guy just depends on his coaches a lot for communication. I think we'll see another side of Brock during this season, not his WWE inspired post fight persona.

The fight didn't impress me. Shamar has good wrestling, but he needs to improve a lot in both his standup and his gNp if he wants to win the competition. Besides, he was fighting Brock's last pick...that was probably the biggest gimme fight he could've gotten.

it was almost like shamar had 2 broken hands or JDS said your a fucking stud just lay on him so you dont get hurt and they cant see your awesomness. That or the guy is spears and they were afraid if he tried to actually fight it would end bad

Dana kind of said something like that on the after show. Saying sometimes these guys try to take it easy early on so they are as healthy as possible for the later fights. Being the 1st fight, with the top pick vs the last pick, it makes sense.

i am not a fan of this strategy but I can see the effectiveness in a tourney style format

I'm hoping tonights fight is better then last weeks. Can't imagine it being much worse.

Randy secretly training Chris and Javier when Brock and JDS are sleeping.

But thought when JDS picked Cope that he made a mistake, not like he put on a great performance or anything, but he's decent and thought he'd win that matchup.

And who is starting to come around on Brock around here? Brock's a pretty solid coach for all he doesn't know about MMA and a pretty chill guy.
