| Show needs an enema
The best part about TUF is the fights, when they are good. There's been a few this season and some that are not. Most of the rest of every episode.... very little engaging tv to see when there could be. How and who is filmed in the training, what is happening when they are not training, get the show off of house arrest a little bit already, do something somewhere different more, it doesn't have to be cheesy reality show bullshit activities but just something. And get a better commitment from coaches to be more willingly involved, not missing his teams fights and not being only ever seen in the gym save the one day when they do the coaches challenge, find ways to get them to do more. Having potentially 15 minutes worth of fight means they need to take advantage of every non-fight minute they have before and after it. Like Roy Nelson said yesterday. Tough Enough is a better tv show than TUF. He's right. They are doing cheesy reality show bullshit usually once a week and the consequence for hurting them selves are is real. Their cast also shrinks which is the golden formula for a tv show like that these days. if there is always 16 guys in 12 episodes you end up with a bunch of regular extras each week with numbers increasingly becoming irrelevant to the purpose of the show, winning the contract. Find a way to thin the crowd, they took a step towards that this season with only 14 guys and no fight on show, but they should have a fight on show.

Get your coaches, get your sixteen, do something to decide your teams, do something to decide all 8 matches at once, then separate the teams; they go and train where ever it is their coaches want to train them. Film a few episodes in maybe a better way, if they have any ideas on that front, than what they have been. Get enough footage to put a few interesting shows out then the next week on spike...Promote a regional style show, small venue, small operation cost, something like they used to have at Hard Rock, pay all 16 fighters a $X plus 8 $X win bonus + $X/2 FOTY, SOTN, and KOTN bonuses. Rinse and repeat another little show a few weeks later, or incorperate the quarterfinals to an event prelim where they show all the tuf fights on Spike leading into the PPV or something. Alternates would be lurkers....
And do the coaches have to fight each other? As time goes on there are gonna be more Randys and Chucks who are retired but can work with, train with, and corner dudes. Hughes and Franklin didn't fight each other.

| Ramsey vs Tony in the Finale, guys look like brothers to me LOL
But this is like the good goofy guy vs the dickhead from what I've seen.
Both guys look pretty decent to me, thought Ramsey was gassing against Cope but then he ended up finishing him with strikes. Tony has some good standup, seems tough, how's his wrestling and ground game? Haven't watched enough to know.

Wonder why Chuck never went for the takedown? after the first round he was getting worked over standing I was thinking the exact same thing watching the fight. He must have crappy wrestling skills. |

| Chuck kept doing the same shit. He seemed like a guy that would have gone for broke, but once his few moves didn't work he just ran and didn't do much the last 2 rounds. | |

| I think Brock said Tony was the most well rounded fighter on the show for whatever that means but JDS also said the same thing about Ramsey. | |

| The show did not have its usual punch, but I think that is just as much about the coaches as anything, there was some good fights, and some fights like the last one that made me wonder, not sure why Chuck kept banging with him while he was clearly outclassed, the finale should be good, if not for the TUF guys, but the other fights for sure | |

| I thought Brock would be alittle more entertaining and the fights would be alittle better than they were. This season was a bit of a let down. | |

| this season may be the one that ended TUF when we look at it. Not saying its over, but this could be the start of the official end. This was a make or break season in that Zuffa thought Brock would do huge numbers, and he didnt.
It ended up Brock was kind of boring and JDS was just a nice guy who happens to be a deadly striker. But nobody would be calling anybody Bitch Monkey, I heard we got some guy drunkenly talking about a dudes kid, thats messed up, didnt catch it, this season just wasnt worth the time.

I agree, I think Mayhem knows how to play the game and Bisping likes to think he does, I see some Rashad V Rampage, Tito V Shamrock confrontations coming this season, plus they fight at the end, well hopefully if know one gets hurt before then, what is it with all these fighters getting hurt lately.
