I honestly believe we have more promising young players on our team. The Lions have Suh and their WR..thats about it as far as YOUNG promising players on your team.

Stafford is overrated, Javid Best never got more than like 70 rushing yards in a game, and Pettigrew is on the borderline of being promising. Hard saying still.

I just heard a great stat on 1st take. Per 48 minutes Kobe takes the most shots in the league at 28 per game and second in the league is melo at 26 per. Thats alot of shots for 2 guys lol.

Yeah Tim, the Nuggets want a lot of stuff, doesn't mean their gonna get it, they could end up with nothing very easily here, Melo could just opt out. While I'm not confident the deal gets done, it's certainly a possibilty, hell I'd take getting Bynum and possibliy a couple late 1st rd early 2nd rd picks if I was Denver over what I've seen from NYs offer. Since Anthony hasn't signed the extension, the Nuggets have explored trade talks instead of letting him walk as a free agent at the end of the season. This is the first time that Anthony has publicly said that he might re-sign with Denver.

People close to him said he'd sign an extension with either LA or NY.

i think he's saying he'll sign with Denver so that some team will panic and trade for him now and possibly over pay in the process.

The Knicks can give up Wilson Chandler and Landry Fields with a coupkle draft picks and get this done tomorrow. Im not sure what they are waiting on.

Only 2 reason why the Knicks should even considering trading for Melo.
1. Some other team is going to snatch him away or they fear he signs back with Denver.
2. They think making the trade will get them to the Finals this season.

Otherwise it would just be smarter to sign him in FA and not give up anything.

Piss him off? He better be smart enough to understand the business side of the move. After all he is making a business move himself.

Athletes have such huge egos that it may bother him besides he wants to sign the extension before the end of the season I heard because of there CBA.
