| Damn Denver wanted Felton, Gallo and a 1st Rd pick for Melo and Billups? Now yeah it's not a bad deal, if you ignore the fact NY can technically just sit there and wait till the offseason. Melo is opting out, they could have Melo, Felton and Gallo with Amare. If I'm Denver I take Bynum (not even sure as a Laker fan I'd want that), it isn't great, but it's the best offer I've seen out there. | |

Yeah I agree they are asking alot from a team that could potentially not have to give up anything. Denver also wanted Eddy Curry's expiring contract.

Yeah he would lose alot of money but he has already made 70 million in his career and will still make some good money. Also they are saying he could make up a chunk of that in NY with advertising. So it's not like he won't be filthy rich either way. Still some players don't want to lose out on a single penny.

| In a perfect world Melo is traded to the Lakers and signs an extention with us and we go on to win it all. I know we may be at a disadvantage in big men with Bynum gone but no one can deny how deadly we would be if Melo and Kobe worked well together. | |

Bynum is a great luxury to have but they will still have some size with Odom and Pau and they would find another big body no doubt about it. But Melo, Kobe, Pau would be scary scary scary come playoff time. Trust me non-Laker fans want no part of this.

Yeah I highly doubt this thing ever happens. But Denver might just say fuck it we need something for Melo and NY isn't going to budge too much.
