| The 21 year old and comer is certainly talented, but as Jim Miller proved tonight still has a lot to learn. Oliveira has strong standup and excellent BJJ, but comes out a bit wild, needs to relax a bit and put on a bunch of muscle. He came into the fight with Miller at 153 I believe with no cut, at FW I think he'd be too skinny, adding muscle and then cutting to 155lb is the way to go IMO. | |

| A loss here was prob good for him. The hype was about to go overboard. This will cool it down, and allow him to develop at a natural pace.
But he still showed the promise that we all thought he had, super active, always dangerous. But Miller's strengh, and his experience did him in.
I could see Oliveira cutting in the short term, an 8 lb cut should not leave him looking famished, but agree that the long term plan should be to add weight and then make the cut to 155.

| Yea, clearly the hype was not warranted. He's still very talented but has obvious holes in his game. That was a sweet knee bar by Jim though. UFC needs to give him a top opponent next. | |

| He was doing some very good things in that fight, but he was playing with fire.
The talent is all there and he'll be very good. His hype train is not derailed for me. Losses happen in MMA. He wins his next one or two, people forget it happened except when working out MMAth equations.
