WEC or Strikeforce

Come December 19 which card will you be watching?

Strikeforce has bigger names, but some pretty one sided matchups except for Gilbert/Josh. While the WEC card has less known names, but solid matchups. I will probably be switching back and forth.

It's SF in a landslide imo. Thompson vs Melendez is not onesided. Lindland vs Jacare is not onesided. I thought people liked Prangley(can't say Ive seen him fight), and considering the rust I don't see Le vs Smith as a gimme(though it should be very entertaining).

My attention will actually be split between sf and the St Petersburg bowl. Go RU.

Ya, I edited saying except Gilbert/Josh I completely forgot that fight was on the card.

I think you will see Jacare just blast through Lindland and Le pick apart Smith. Prangley vs Lawler is a fun competitive fight though. For WEC every single fight is just a brawl and could go either way. Cerrone vs 9mm, Horodecki vs Njokuani, and Mizugaki vs. Jorgensen will be absolute stand up wars.

Not sure Im reading you right, but Le vs Smith is the main event, not Thomson Gilbert.

Im interested in seeing Mo too.

Really? That's a shame. Hate when championship fights are overshadowed by named fighters. It brings back memories of EliteXC.

Yeah especially when Le hasn't fought in forever and Smith is a middle of the road guy even in SF.

But thomson gilbert was a late addition. i dunno. whatever.

Both. I'll watch WEC first because Strikeforce is on a delay for me. So, i'll be able to watch WEC live and by the time it's over Strikeforce will be getting started. I'll just have to stay away from the internet untill SF is over to avoid spoilers.

does anybody else prefer WEC cages?

Why would people on here just choose one? We're all huge MMA fans so why wouldn;t we all watch both?

I'll be watching WEC live and recording Strikeforce to watch immediately after.

Oh and I just realized this.

I have showtime, but not Vs(which is total BS, I missed Brodeur's record tying game the other night), meanwhile my buddy with whom I usually watch fights has Vs but not showtime. Fuck.

Probably Strikeforce since that's available the next day on Bravo.

WEC still doesn't have a network in the UK.
