Fedor was undefeated for 10 years and fought much better competition than Anderson Silva. Fedor was usually always the smaller guy while Anderson is nearly always the bigger guy.

Silva is the MW GOAT. All time... It's so hard to say until people are done. Right now he isn't my GOAT but is at the table.

at this point i have silva as goat. maybe gsp second and fedor third. this can all change if gsp for some reason loses to nick then i bump fedor up to 2. people can say what they want, silva was the bigger guy, he didnt fight as tough comp as fedor this and that. anyone can go and pick the flaws over the fighters fedor fought just like the ones anderson did. doesnt matter. to me and many silva is goat.

they way i see it why cant there be a goat per division

hw = fedor obviously
lhw = chuck, this can change though
mw = anderson hands down
ww = gsp
lw = bj
fw = not clear but seems aldo with time
bw = no one has cemented themselves just yet

I don't agree with the better competition. Look at the Zulu's, HMCs, and professional wrestlers he fought during his run. Its hard to knock Anderson for fighting in the correct weight class while Fedor chose to be undersized.

leites was actually a top mw at the time and had a legit win over nate. prior to his match with anderson

Just going to comment on the last post. Leties did not have a legit win over Nate, it was a fight that Nate owned Leties and was deducted a point and STILL won on 1 of the scorecards. If Nate wouldn't have been so stupid in that fight it would have been an easy win.

Nate was actually deducted 2 points in that fight and it was still a SD lol

I didn't even think the pile drivers were a big deal, yeah illegal, but shouldn't be IMO. Didn't he do like 2 and what was the other pt for? back of the head?

thales beat nate clearly rd 1 and dropped him as well. round 2 we saw him eat the illegal knee. his eyes looked glossy and didnt fully recover from it. round 2 was 9-9 cus of the illeagal knee. round 3 was all nate however was deducted a point due to the back of the head. imo it was bs however he did pile drive him wich should of gotten him automatically dq'd. pile drivers are a big deal, look at what happened to stone cold when a scripted pile driver went wrong. now imagine that in a real fight. for that a second point deduction is legit with rd 3 being 9-9. in the end the only rd wich there was no illeagal strikes in (something nate has done several times in his career) was rd 1. a round thales won.
