Rampage's concern on Machidas style..legit/or set up?

Curious to what you all think with all this talk of how rampage cant stand boring fighters including machida. Is he being for real or is he setting up excuses now just in case he has another fight like he did against shad and loses a boring decision so he can now put the blame on machida for his loss due to machida's (point style).

I said the same thing this morning in the chat. Might be brutal to watch. Rampage has to come up aggressive for it to be entertaining. All on him.

agree OU after all the talk he needs to come in guns blazing fucking pride style. If you can get inside on machida he has no distance and cant do much other that clinch. But like you said its all on rampage.

I think if anything it puts more pressure on Page. Cause OU is right it's up to him to make it entertaining. He can't use this to blame Lyoto imo. If he is admitting that he knows how Lyoto fights he can't go back later and act suprised like " I came to fight and he didn't I don't know what happened"

I agree with what you guys are saying, but at the same time, Rampage cant come out wild. He has to pick his spots. Rushing in on Machida is not a good idea as he has great counter punching and kicking ability. Like Rampage's trainer said, he has to cut the cage off and trap Machida. Good boxing footwork is key against Machida as there are no corners in the octagon to trap him in. The question is whether Rampage will come prepared enough and have the footwork he needs to be successful.

He says no one tries to cut him off which is ridiculous as shit. He doesn't let anyone cut him off. He has no answer for Machida's style and literally has no game plan for this fight.

Have to agree with that. Lately he seems like he either has no game plan except hope for a big punch to land, or whoever is helping him prep for the fights doesn't know how to put an effective game plan together.

I have to agree that that seems to be his strategy for every fight he has ever been in. Just go out and try to maul.

He's definitely concerned. I wanna see Machida make him do the stinky leg!
