please, LA had some rough times this year. You can't assume they are "going through the motions" like you like to say. That's what the Yankees thought last year going into the playoffs as the favorites to win it all. Don't have to tell you how that played out.
LA is looking great now, but it wasn't that way the whole season.

If the Thunder can do the the Lakers what the Rangers did to the Yankees. I'll die happy. Even without a Championship. Thunder have much better odds then the Rangers did going into the playoffs.

Yeah I thought the Rangers had no chance and I at least think the thunder have a slim chance.

Last years 1st rd was one of the Lakers instances of going through the motions, seriously, OKC surprised them then they turned it on.

OKC beats anyone in the West but LA though, been calling them beating the Spurs all year, if the Lakers don't pass the Spurs...

I dont see the Lakers having much of a problem at all against any1 out West.

every team goes through "motions", the lakers are playing their best ball all year and whata coincidence that their doing it right before the playoffs

Come on LA, that crazy buzzer beater in game 6 doesn't go down. Who knows what happens game 7. They were not going thru the motions, they were going thru a tough matchup.

Kinda but I do think OKC surprised them alittle.

LA wins by double digits in game 7.... OKC surprised them, thought they crush an 8 seed, they let OKC get in the series before ending it. They did the same thing with Houston the year before...

Yeah but they were fully awake by Game 6. Which was won by a tip in at the buzzer. They were past the initial shock by then.

So it took 6 games to wake up? Cause OKC could have won that game easy. LA had a little luck to get that tip in.

I think the young guys on OKC really are tough for the Lakers to match up with but I still think they are big favorites over the Thunder.

Yes, did it take 60 games this season to wakeup? what 17-1 since the break...Houston did the same thing to LA the year before but that went 7, then domination.

The Lakers will be tough to beat in the playoffs but they definitely arent unbeatable.
