| I have to say the refs. They have been unreal all year and they still do not have to talk to the media which pisses me off. Channing Crowder will probably get fined today, (if he hasn't already) for simply stating the truth. There has not been one week this year without major referee issues. | |

| Hard hits? Why not throw TDs on the list while you are at it. | |

| Hard hits are what the NFL sold itself on. No one gives a rats ass about agents and college players including the NFL. That is an annoyance for college football, not the pros. The refs are horrible. I've never seen so many calls fucked up upon review as I have this year. A lot of parity in the NFC but the AFC isn't that much better. Favre is always interesting | |

I agree that's been an issue lately but as of right now, today, do you think that is their biggest concern? Wolf I think every recent news story contradicts your student/agent argument.

| That is a media/NCAA driven story. I don't think the fans care all that much. | |

| Helmet hits all the way. I'm not an anti ref guy in the least, but the paying collegiates thing is def a big issue.
But as an RU fan, and seeing how last week went, including what happened to LeGrand, the dangerous hits involving helmets is without a doubt the bigger problem.

| Millionaires who have positions on teams that hundreds of other guys bleed every day to never make the cut getting concussions for my entertainment shouldn't be an issue. The majority of NFL athletes leave the sport ten times better off than when they found it. Even if the occasional player gets seriously injured, I imagine it is still less than the serious injury rate for factory workers in the US in the last 20 years. Those people can barely afford their mortgage.

Depends on what u consider serious issues, but I'd think in most industries, concussions, torn ligaments, and broken bones are a pretty rare occurrence. Now do these athletes get paid way too much? Yeah, but that does not mean the we should ignore what is a pretty serious problem.

| It's not a problem at all. Their pay reflects the risk inherent in the game. 90% of the middle class working population would gladly trade their salary for an NFL athletes to do a job with similar injury risks. Probably more. | |

Wolf I think every recent news story contradicts your student/agent argument. In other news, it just came across my screen that the NFL isn't interested in punishing rookie players who got benefits while in college. No one cares, not the NFL or the majority of fans.
