| Why do people, even superficially "smart" ones like LTFG think that the UFC ruling the MMA roost with no competition is good for the sport? Shouldn't a millionare like him understand competition is better for the end product?

First off, let's address the elephant in the room... The fact that I can't make a post anywhere in this forum without some type of response from you is getting a bit tiring. You really need to lose this hard on you have for me kiddo. You're making me nervous in a prison cell kind of way... The answer is pretty simple... Many of us would actually like to see the biggest and best fights out there. I have been a boxing fan for almost twice as long as you have been alive, and the one thing boxing is guilty of is not giving the fans what fights they want when they want them. Too many orgs and promoters jerking with everything. Well, MMA is very much the same in that a few of the big dogs do everything in their power to ignore the fans and fight in shallow and talentless orgs while protecting their brand. Could you imagine Tiger playing on the Nike Tour? Jordan in the CBA? Montana in the CFL? Gretz in the AHL? Look, just because you hate the UFC and would rather hypothesize about fights than actually see them, doesn't mean you need to be a chronic dick to others and dog them for having a differing opinion. Don't be such a shit head, Wolf.

| Nothing. I am looking at the bigger picture of what MMA would be like if Zuffa controled it all. | |

And you have no clue just like any of us. You assume it would be terrible for everyone and therfore are set against the idea, am I right? You assume the fighters would get screwed, right? But no one really knows. What we do know is that under current form, MMA as a whole is pretty fucked up. No one outside the top-20 gets paid and outside the UFC there is no security in a contract since your org could fold tomorrow. A single entity running the big show with a handful of developmental orgs couldn't be any worse than it is now. Actually it is what we have now, but unfortunately one or two of those orgs manage to scrap together enough to keep a few stars away from the big show...

| One MMA org could be good for the sport, but it's not likely with the current ufc business model. I don't like the only guy in charge being a guy who could easily lie to me straight faced about who the best in the world are. If the UFC was in charge and answered to no one, the real legitimacy of the whole sport would be questionable. | |

| I'm gonna assume it's FOX, just seems like the network that would jump on this. | |
