I believe it all depends on what you can or want to work out between the 2 of you. Personally, my wife has rarely worked outside our home in the 30 + years we've been together and even if she did work and make enough money to support me and the family, I'd still support myself financially, and there's no way I could stay at home and be a househusband.

If the woman makes good money then the man should be the one who stays home and takes care of everything. I think "the man should always be the provider" is outdated like everything else is now days. I have done it a few times for a few months and I want NO PART of staying at home with a baby and taking kids too and from school, cleaning, etc. It gets old real quick. My wife is too lazy to keep a job anyways so I have to work.
