Jardine will eat Silva up on thier feet. Silva should get this to the ground if he can, but holding Jardine down is really hard.

Jardine by TKO or UD.

Yeah, I am with you Jruq. But I do believes he pulls this one out from deep inside his ass! I am thinking a split decision, where ppl aren't sure who won.

If he comes out doing the Techno Viking, I'm changing my pick to Jardine (So don't lock it until introductions GolbeZ)... But if he goes lame and walks out to Slayed, he's going to get slayed...

Jardine has never been stopped outside of the opening of a fight before his blood is flowing.

Thiago fights a slower version of the Pride-Chutebox style mixed with some GnP tactics he has used on lesser wrestlers than Jardine. I've watched every one of his fights and he has never shown the explosive speed or power of a Wanderlei Silva or Houston Alexander, even in fights against nobodies.

His cardio, fight IQ and chin are also suspect. It's possible I am under estimating him due to what Machida did but that fight to me confirmed what I already suspected about him. While his record inside the UFC was impressive, note that he's gassed and been rocked by lesser competition and also got a fluke win due to an injury.

I've long been a critic of the hype he's received, well before the Machida fight.


This fight for different reasons actually has a similar dynamic Belfort-Franklin does. Jardine either loses by KO early as he tends to sometimes, or Jardine picks him apart en-route to either a UD or a TKO stoppage.

I hadn't hought of that Wolf, but I still think this fight will be closer than I would like.

I think Silva will KO him in round one

This was the only fight that went against the better judgement of MMA experts. Jardine should have won, but as usual, he loses fights he should win and wins or in Rampage's case nearly wins fights he shouldn't.

I don't have near the MMA knowledge a lot of you guys have, but I thought this was the easiest fight of the night to call. Got in early on Silva when he was close to -200.

I see one win on Jardine's record that was a big surprise. I don't see any big surprise losses.

The losses to Alexander, Thiago and Wanderlei were all pretty surprising for most analyists and for myself. I'll never be surprised at a loss again though.

I had Jardine beating Houston and Thiago.

I had Wand Koing Jardine though.

I had Jardine winning all those fights but I probably picked Wanderlei in one of those desparate homer picks that has caused my GOR stats to look much worse than they really would be if I were only picked according to how I would bet. Got lucky that time.

Just a guess but I'd think Wandy would have been the betting line favorite in that fight.

Alexander is a minor surprise I guess, but against a guy like Jardine, who also likes to stand, was it that surprising?

Didn't go on record for last night but I def saw Thiago as being a very live threat.

The most surprising loss imo was vs Page. I thought for sure he was going to get KO'd.
