I wish the UFC would give their stars more winnable fights after bad losses or a couple losses in a row. Jardine should be fighting Stephan Bonnar, Jake O'Brien, Eric Shafer or someone.

Winnable fights are great and all, but I like seeing the best fight the best even if they lose a few.

Sounds like a solid freebie... No way Nate v. Chael should be the #5. That better be a co-main...

You know, I'd pay for this card if Jardine would just do the Techno Viking...

In theory ya, but only Nate and Chael is a fight between two fighters that have any possible upside in the company. Everyone else is on the decline or cannot be expected to go much farther in the rankings. Akiyama, Rothwell, Krystoff have all over achieved and will never be thought of any higher than they are today or were before their last fights. Rothwell is a HW striker. Enough said. That era ended last year. Akiyama is a natural WW fighting a LHW. Polish doesn't have much upside. Everyone else is on the downside of their career - Mirko, Jardine, Franklin, Wandy, Stephan.
No chance I buy this card.

Just because fighters aren't at their peak anymore doesn't mean they're not worth watching. Sure Wand has long 5 of his last 6 or some BS like that, but I'm still a huge fan and can't wait to see him int he cage again.

BS Wolfy... You know that if Jardine promises his entrance will be the Techno Viking dance, you're handing over a $50 to see it live. No one would resist the opportunity to see that...

But both fighters are on the downslide. Franklin has lost 2 of his last 3. I like the idea of having 2 fighters on the downslide fighter each other cuz it could give one of them the momentum to start winning again.

before you know it, these guys are wanderlei and chuck though, with no drawing power anymore and a forever tarnished reputation.
The UFC errs by not giving their stars an occassional gimmie.
