some boxers that i want to see more of are 1. beibut shumenov- very entertaining fighter with a lot of upside 2. david lemiux- looked great in his last fight and the kid has power 3.dimitri pirog- this guy just won the biggest fight of his career and is rewarded by not fighting again for the rest of the year..wtf? 4.sergei dzinziruk- read above other than biggest win of his career 5.antonio demarco-loses to power punching valero and then we don't see him again 6.guillermo ringodeaux- i know he fought recently but he's not young and fighting on the pac-margo would be a great idea 7. ricardo torres- guy only has two losses and with his power he could defenitely be a factor at 140 even though his last fight was at 154 over a year ago. hopefully they get these guy's back in the ring SOON.

Inactivity is such a usual thing now a days. Shit John hasnt even foguht this year yet. Mayweather will probably end up having one fight per year from now on. Haye had two, one against an old man and another against a complete bum. Angulo is only having two (one went 1 round). Arreola had 2.
Bradley, Dawson, Cintron, Dirrell, Kessler and Cotto had 1 fight
Multiple belts, politics, promoter conflicts, guys not wanting to fight the best, guys wanting to fight less time per year for more money from networks. This is what this sport has come down to now.

I saw some footage of that Dzinziruk guy. he has a pretty good jab.
I would LOVE to see Shumenov vs. Cloud somewhere along the road. I don't think Beibut is experienced enough yet, but that's a crazy brawl for the future. Perhaps the bottom half of the top 10 at 175 should battle it out.
The Euro names like Brahmer, Erdei, etc, are familiar but I haven't seen much of them. Chris Henry should get in the mix.

As far as I know, Ricardo Torres has retired from boxing.

Lemieux could be a star. Real power and a built-in audience in Quebec, also his trainer Russ Anber is one of the best in Canada, and they've brought the kid along the right way.

I'd personally love to see more of:
Jorge Diaz- Great local kid (732 MOTHAFUCKA!), KO'd Yan Barthelemy, looks like a great action prospect, so pissed he's headlining some small A.C card instead of getting on the Judah undercard (Rum if you haven't, check him out).
Pirog- The world needs more slick, showboating eastern euros
Gennedy Golkovin- The only thing missing from his brutal KO of Bute in the amateurs was John Witherspoon going "Young man..you just got knocked the fuck OUT!"
Rigondeaux- Makes people cry in the ring.
Roman Gonzalez- He's moving back to 108 against Reveco, could see him in a FOTY against Segura

his ko of the cuban was nice. i was high on him but then he faced alejandro lopez and i saw him struggle. he had lopez down twice and let him get back into the fight and almost lost. maybe he learned from that bout but yeah the kids good. he recently called juanma and gamboa out.

He's kind of like Gatti, I don't think he quite has the ability to be an elite fighter, but he's a definite "TV fighter" that the fans will love.
