I'll take Tarver by decision, I can't see him having much power at heavyweight but he's got the skills to outbox the journeymen.

This is more of a hope than a prediction.
I hope Mr. Traver trips over the rope and sprains an ankle entering the ring. I hope when the ref shows what is a legal blow during the intros he accidentally whacks Mr. Tarver in the nads. I hope he gets so surpised by the first jab he almost swallows his mouthpiece and begins choking and nobody notices. I hoipe he gets pinned in a corner and knocked down so completely he does a Benitez and breaks an ankle going down. I hope he gets up and then gets KO'd in one.
Then I hope that night when he goes home his lovely wife mimics Monica from Fast and the Furious when she says (paraphrase) "What do YOU want, you didn't win!"
Just so we're clear I bring no bias to this.

Ask any racer, any REAL racer. It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning is wining!

Vin Diesel is a little like Alec Baldwin. They don't really excel (IMO) over entire movies, but for short bursts they give unbelievable speeches. The sales pitch Diesel gives in Boiler Room is another.

That's a bit harsh on Baldwin, he's got more acting ability in his pinky than Diesal has in his entire body.

I like Tarver as a commentator.
As a fighter I hope that Marble's dream comes true.
What speech of Vin Diesel's in boiler room are you referring to Marble???? Oh yeah, the sales pitch to the doctor that Rabissi got interested on the phone.

I said "a little." The similarity is they give great soliloquy.

My head hurts just thinking about this. Tarver has some good commentating skills and I like him on Showtime. If he somehow gets a crazy shot at Wlad, there's no guarantee he'll still have those speaking skills should ever return to commentating.
Don't do it Tarver!

I figure Tarver wouldn't have picked Aguilera as his 1st opponent at HW unless he thought he could beat him, so chances are Tarver will win by a decision. I really hope however, that Aguilera knocks Tarver out, it just ain't likely.

I started to write something like this but I can't say it any better. This goes for me too. LOL

The next clown that claims that the contemporary Hwts. are better than previous decades had better take a hard look at this picture. Can you imagine a fighter in the 60's, 70's & 80's letting himself get this bloated (and I mean both of them) and actually thinking he could compete as a Hwt? Damn this pisses me off. It's insulting to the sport. Aguilera looks like his idol is Arreola. I don't even want to get started on Tarver. His career has been over for a while now and this is how he treats the sport? I hope they both trip entering the ring and sustain career ending injuries.
