- ring percentages mean nothing at times..archie could punch..an example is basilio who could hit big time especialy with one of the greatest left hooks ever..low ko percentage..how do you ko a gavilin a robinson a billy grahm a fullmer an d several others fighters like them..giardello was another..a cutie in the ring who finaly desided to train at age 34..serious guys..excellent left hook.low ko percentage per say..is lamar clark a great puncher who ko guys in his first 43 fights.nope..
BIRD moore came noooo where close in stoping marciano..a knockdown yes based on balance and transfer of feet for 2 or 3 seconds..marble knows what im talking about..bird you are young and excellent with knowlegde..a colledge graduate maybe ..lol pay attention to a few old guys that got a few phd degrees on this stuff..you ali powerrpuncher and a few others are awsaome for your age.. Yup, Archie could punch, just saying dmar, folks shouldn't be mislead into thinking that because Archie had 131 KO's he was some kind of knockout artist, he really wasn't. The most amazing thing about Archie Moore was his longevity as a Pro, few, if any can equal that. He began his pro career in 1935 and ended it, 219 fights and almost 28 years later, in 1963. | |
