Moore would later give Rocky his due respect,he also said that he couldn't get off his hook as he had planned,given the fact the Rock was harder to hit than he thought.

I was a skycap at Logan Airport in Boston for about five years.I was on my break when I saw Moore and Foreman in the concourse.Being around the tickrt agents,I would often find out about famous people coming in from various gates.
Although I've met some famous people in my line of work,those were the only boxers.Here is a list of boxers I have met in my lifetime:

Edgar "Bad News"Wallace was a local favorite from Phoenix who was a ranked MW in the seventies.He fought the likes of David Love,Mike Colbert and Ronnie Harris.

Cooney was a very tall man who was soft-spoken and polite.
With the exception of Cossell all of the were approachable,but Foreman and Danny Lopez stuck out as the most down-to-earth.

Their ring persona is sometimes misleading.Ayala Jr. appeared flattered and humble when I asked for his autograph.It went downhill soon after for El Torito.

damn thats crazy never woulda thought Ayala would be nice, guess it goes to proves drugs bring out the demon in us

met James Kirkland and he seemed like a tough, then in hindsight you realize he was kind of a prick and not surpprising a parole violator

Ann Wolfe was extremely nice as well

...archie loves to talk and make it sound like hes the expert and the other fighters a novice..the greatest part of this story is that litterly nothing happened the way archie claimed it would happen..lol hows he gonna hit me..well he hit you all night..hows he gonna outmuscle me..see above lol..hell outweigh me..not true fight night archie was slighly heavier..ill jab him all night..yep...the guys easy to hit..lol yep again.no left hook and can be feighted out of possition..what films did you watch archie lol..this is a perfect example of 1. vastly overating yourself and vastly underating your opposition..a formular for defeat..2.an example of calling out a fighter or fighting the fight in the newspaper when its realy fought in the ring..i guess archie thought marciano was a inept fighter like bob baker or a slow easy target like nino valdez or style wise compared a glass jaw LH in reality in saterfield and put rocky in saterfields category...archie found out completly different fight night..the first words out of archies mouth after the fight was..it was a pleasure fighting you MR. marciano.guess who got taken to school that night..

ive talked with many a fighter in my lifetime and many were ATG and non were not nice guys..ingeneral you will find most fighters approachable easy to talk with and great guys who love to talk boxing..amoung all the athlets boxers are the best in that way and dont mind spending a lot of time with you..in fact they love it.especialy if the talks boxing and other fighters etc etc

i used to have a few signed photos of archie and a few signed boxing gloves also but sold them when i trimed my collection a ton.
