| I was just thinking about how disappointed I was after certain fights and decided to make this thread. The fight that disappointed me most in recent years was Khan vs Barrera. That was some inspired matchmaking and I was really looking forward to seeing that fight for ages and then it ends being stopped after 5 rounds because Barrera has a gash on his head. Barrera couldn't see from the first round and so the fight ended up meaning absolutely nothing and told us nothing about Khan or Barrera. Just so unsatisfying.
Another one was Williams vs Cintron. Ends after 4 rounds because Cintron falls out of the ring. What made it so disappointing is that Cintron was landing some big shots on Williams and doing really well before it ended. The possibility of an upset KO was very real and to have it end that way was unsatisfying.
Pac vs Clottey was pretty disappointing too as was Ward vs Green.

| i remember being disappointed after the ortiz/maidana fight. i thought that ortiz was the next big thing and then he quit. i was more disappointed with ortiz rather than the fight itself. | |

| MAB-one of my favorite fighters of the last 15 years, but he's done. He's been done. He can beat nobodies and B-/C level competition. Khan is way, way, way, way, too big for him.
MAB is fighting well above his best weight and is well past his best age.

| Hagler-Leonard was vastly overrated.I found the fight so unsatisfying,I'm done watching it for good.By the way I had it 114-114. | |

I've had it scored that way every single damned time I've scored it.

| Arguello-Pryor II. I know I was comparing it to one of the great fights ever fought but...
Ali-Frazier II
Every single time Mr. Ronald Wright climbs between the ropes.
Shane and Floyd. I thought maybe Shane had something left. Nope.

Yeah I was really disappointed by that too. I was really high on Ortiz.

Shane and Floyd. I thought maybe Shane had something left. Nope. Yeah I enjoyed Floyd's performance but I was so disappointed when Mosley had him on queer street and couldn't finish him. Would have been huge if he knocked him out.

| Recently I was dissapointed by Robert Guererro and Joel Casamayor. Joan Guzman coming in so overweight made me sick. Mayweather Marquez was disappointing. | |

| Mayweather-Pacquiao. They really can't make that fight?
Pacquiao-Clottey. Clottey didn't try. That's unacceptable.
Vasquez-Marquez 4. It pretty much only lasted a round.
Williams-Cintron.
Valuev-Haye.
Most of my disappointing fights are the ones that aren't being made. |

| Pac vs Clottey didn't disappoint me because I never expected Clottey to venture outside of his comfort zone, people should have realized this after Joshua allowed a one eyed Cotto to win a decision against him. |

| You did think it was going to be a tough fight for Manny though
I would say Hatton-Tzsyu stands out for me. A wrestling match that led to the retirement of one of my favs

Most of my disappointing fights are the ones that aren't being made. agreed. Clottey didn't give himself a chance. Vazquez never should have been licensed. Williams-Cintron was just heating up when Kermit decided to go diving. Lumbering Valuev. Haye refusing to engage. Mr. 13 finally landed some big shots in round 12. By then I was ready to take an afternoon nap.

| Hatton killing Kosta was awesome. Pacman shelling Clottey so bad he was literally unable to fire back at all was cool too. I didn't hate it like everyone else did. BANG. | |

| Whittaker vs. ODLH was disappointing to me. So many missed punches, awkward fight from both sides. | |

| One that personally disapointed me was Kirk Johnson vs. Vitali. Kirk's a hometown guy for me, same high school, and it was really cool to see him get a shot at the top of the boxing world. He had pulled out of the fight against Lennox earlier that year with a torn pec; and his little girl died a few months before the Vitali fight (which no one knew at the time). He clearly wasn't ready, came in fat and totally unfocused and got blown out.
Kirk was a guy with all the potential in the world, just one of those sad "could have been" stories.

I would say Hatton-Tzsyu stands out for me. A wrestling match that led to the retirement of one of my favs I thought Clottey's style might have frustrated Manny, but the little fireball obliged the shell and fired away non stop. |
