If Palhares didn't file a complaint mid fight it would have played out exactly how I said. You could see even with the clean, free shots Palhares was unhurt.

Please, Palhares was on his feet almost before Nate was. Nate could have had a bat and still not hurt Palhares.

Im not going to do to deep with you on this OU, cause I was pretty impressed how unfazed Palhares looked once Dean jumped in, however, if those shots were doing nothing, then he should have done something prior to Dean jumping in.

He made a dumb mistake and got taken by surprise. Palhares made a very dumb mistake. But he wasn't any more hurt then Nate was when the fight was stopped.

^ that first shot clouded his head real good and curled up cause he didnt want any. If he was completely unhurt he would of went for another leg or something. I will agree tho that palhares is a beast and doubt he could be knocked out just like hendo. Hendo hit him with the kitchen sink a few times and that fucker just kept coming. Palhares isnt going any where any time soon.

If he wasn't hurt the fight wouldn't have been stopped. Hurt Pride doesn't cause a guy to turtle up and not defend himself.

LOL Wolf you are just being silly. I can't defend Palhares being a dumb shit and filing a complaint mid fight and turning his focus off of his opponent. But those punches surprised him because he wasn't ready for him(cause he is a dumbass). But he wasn't hurt at all. He was standing, walking around and protesting and completely aware the second the fight was stopped.

Really did he magically heal the split second the fight was stopped? That is some legendary recovery time. He was also cut open in the fight but he healed so fast it didn't have time to bleed.

The kid who got smoked on TUF in 13 seconds was up instantly too. Would you have stopped the fight?

LOL yeah right, that kid didn't know what happened for a second. Palhares was asking the ref questions before Nate had time to raise his hands.

I'm not a Nate basher in any way. I hated this fight from day 1 since I really like both fighters.

Sad my guy Gunderson was dominated (But saw it coming against a vet like Yves). 1-2 isn't going to keep you employed in the UFC, but at least he had his time there.

I king of thought Cole's length might give Ross fits, but didn't expect that kind of an ass kicking. Cole's far from the most talented LW, but he's entertaining as hell to watch.

As I've said, Jim Miller is my new BFF... A great and hard earned win over a solid vet, but not nearly impressive enough to really put him in the title picture, IMO.

That fight was sloppy as hell in parts for both fighters, but I think Oliveira has a real bright future.

Harris is a dumb ass, plain and simple. One thing's certain, that pin head can take a freaking punch. Even though it was early, Nate didn't look to me like he was really comfortable anywhere. I think he was very fortunate that Harris went brain dead...

What is all this "Nate didn't look good" stuff? He was fighting with a completely different game plan and fighting style. He wasn't going to look natural early on.

Palhares was just as TKO'd. Plain and simple. All this "wow he can take a punch" stuff is really, really, really silly.
