Letting an old, shot, has been fighter continue to fight, and placing him in with D class fighters. Stringing him along, and giving him false hope.
OR
Putting an old, shot, has been fighter in with some skilled young gun, and letting him get destroyed?
This comes up because of RJJ's plan to keep on fighting. IMO, I just want Roy to retire. But part of me wants him to just get blasted into oblivion for not knowing when to quit. Am I wrong for this?

I think if Roy likes to fight as long as he's in with journeymen who can't hurt him? What's the harm?

Is the man broke? I guess I've never loved anything as much as Roy loves boxing. He could easily earn money as a color man or as an advisor/negotiator for other fighters.

look if their still fighting they are likely in need of money
case in point, Joe Louis won 10 fights in a row then couldnt turn down the 300,000 guaranteed purse vs Marciano
