| I haven't seen any press releases from the WBA ordering this fight to happen, Maidana is another one of those bogus interim holders who treat it like an actual world belt. |

For Bradley, he didnt even have a copy of his agreement with GBP, I cant fault him there. Remember he even put out a letter blasting GBP And the other is still in the works? So whats the problem?

- I think HBO is the cause pf the problem. Khan was paid 1.1 Million to fight a less dangerous fighter in Paulie. Now with Maidana hes probably granted a lot more. I heard it was 2 million HBO is offering for the fight to happen in the states. So Khan for sure is getting more than 1.1 of that money, but that 2 Mil is only if they fight here. Im pretty sure Maidana got a lot to fight Cayo.
Shit Guerrero got 700K for the Yordan fight and was probably paid about the same for Klassen and those arent even quality fights. yep and add that mess with the NYSAC over the purses for Paulie-Khan & Ortiz-Campbell

He's stalling when the Khan fight is right on the table. A guy in Maidana's position should be all over this fight like a rash, you do realize he's probably complaining about $750k. That's more than enough to feed his family and care to his needs. win or lose Maidana will be back on HBO so it's not like he's never going to get paid again. |

I get that, but again, when HBO/GBP dish out money like nothing for meaningless fights, fighters will continue to ask for more And I still think this fight gets done, even if it doesnt, we see Ortiz-Khan Calm down mang Like I said before, Khan shouldnt be twittering this crap DURING the negotiations, if it falls apart THEN rip Maidana

| I am calm, just frustrated because certain people think Khan is ducking him.
Honestly I feel Ortiz would be a more difficult challenge for Khan, he's got decent skills and is alot faster. |

If Maidana is balking at $750K, then I agree that Khan should tell him to go to hell. We will have to wait to see if any numbers leak out.

| Khan ducked him before IMO, had just been KO'd by Prescott & just started working with Roach
At this point, like you said, its on both guys to make the damn fight
I really dont know what to make of Ortiz, tons of talent, but doesnt seem to want it, Id have Khan BIG over him

| I don't see how Khan has earned a bigger slice of this pie. He gets KTFO and then sidesteps his way in to another strap? Maidana is the guy that KO'd Golden Boys golden boy. If anything this should be a 60/40 split if not even. Aren't they both being repped by Oscar now anyway? | |

That's just silly. Khan is the draw and the strap holder, Maidana has no fanbase and only holds a bogus interim title. I understand you don't like Khan but don't allow it to cloud your judgement. |

| Man neither of those locations is as attractive as holding this in the UK
Fights are MUCH better in other countries, they are a real attraction
From entrances, to the crowd, the atmosphere, its just on another level
Only certain fights out here can create that type of environment for a prize fight

I missed Sturm's entrance what was it like ? I always enjoy the atmosphere when two Mexican's go to battle or when it's Mexico vs Puerto Rico. |

Detroit or Vegas is what I read. See now that is the point....Khan cannot possibly have a big fan base in either Detroit or Vegas. If this fight was in the UK, sure, absolutely, but not in the US. He's just not that big here. This fight would have to be part of another card just to garner enough interest in it to generate the kind of money they're talking about. It seems like the big guy is picking on the little guy. Khan has Roach & GBP looming behind him & Maidana is the new kid with no backup. Keep in mind, Oscar is very cold & calculating as a promoter, no better or worse than Arum or King. He will squeeze as much as he can out of every fighter regardless of the fighter's well being.

But the difference is Khan's got a fanbase who will travel to see him, plus Golden Boy is targeting Detroit because of it's large Muslim population. |

Yep, like I said, only certain fights can generate that type of buzz

The intro's in Germany are awesome, Vitali's one with the past champions was legendary. |
