Dan, Lou DiBella was on the BBC Radio over here last night, claiming that there is so much BS in boxing he is considering walking away from it. Any chance he actually does? I really think he's one of the good guys in the business!
Dan Rafael (1:36 PM)
Lou gets closer and closer every day to walking away. He mentions it to me all the time. I'd be surprised if he actually did but I understand his frustration. |

That's right. I am willing to bet Lou is trying his best to convince Berto to take the undercard spot but is having to deal with that leach Al Haymon. |

| Yep and majority of Finkel's fighters with GBP....
Ugly stuff going on I'm sure
And no question he's trying to promote Berto the right way but like you said Haymon trying to get every penny he can get | |

| It's only going to get worse until someone takes a stand. |

| Per Mr. Twinkie, HBO offered 1 million for Berto vs Aydin (spelling?). That would be for both fighters to get paid. HBO came back and offered 1.25 million.
Why are they that desperate to keep Berto?
Tell him to go fight on Showtime if he doesn't like it. Or better yet, tell him to fight on his own PPV. He can draw 1000 fans to the show, and maybe 10,000 ppv buys, guaranteeing a PPV that ends up losing money!!!!!

HBO needs to change the way it does business If Lou walks away from promoting maybe he'll get his old HBO job back. |

| If you could put Showtime or ESPN's brass in for HBO, then we might have some good fights. | |
