| http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=302450194While some in my home state are praising our squad for the 45-7 beating OSU put on Marshall I was left worried about next week. Our defense looked great but it was against a team with no speed, I'm wondering if we're gonna keep using that dreadful zone that always gets beat by fast teams again this year. The O-line was the best thing about our offense opening huge holes for Saine but did let the Herd get a sack. But the two things that worry me are Pryor's continuing problem of making bad decisions and our terrible special teams play. Pryor should have ended the night with 2 interceptions or 3 he keeps throwing into double coverage! And our special teams suck for the first time since Tressel has been here. A blocked FG and extra point are you fucking kidding me. Most of ohio was jumpin up and down last night while I am scared shitless for next week. | |

| osu will use the zone like they always do. you know that they will leave the TE open like always and miami's TE is like a WR. | |

| Well, I am one of those "positive ohio state" fans.
If the ONLY negative on our entire squad that you can name is the FIELD GOAL team...I'd say things are going pretty well.
I bet you didnt think our special teams sucked when Dorian Bell came out on the opening kickoff and LEVELED their returner to force a fumble.
All in all, Ohio State DOMINATED every facet of the game. Sure it was against Marshall, but that is still a college football team with some talented players.
-- The Positives --
Ohio State's defense came out looking STRONG. They were playing way more physical than I had seen them play in recent years, and were hammering anyone in their path.
Ohio State's offense looked ALOT better than you were giving credit for. Did Pryor make some bad decisions? Yes and No. It was the season opener against a scrub opponent when we were up big anyways, so he may have thought who gives a fuck and just threw up a ball hoping he'd come down with it.
I think if you really were watching the game, you woulda noticed that Pryor's throwing mechanics have improved vastly, and now that he has a strong O-line, Pryor has the time to step up and stand in the pocket, and should the pressure come...he's strong and fast enough to evade and pick up a first down.
Our running backs LOOKED SOLID. Boom Herron was his usual self just running through arm tackles and spinning for extra yards, and Brandon Saine showed his burst in the open field last night.
-- The Negatives --
Our special teams. I do not for a second believe that our kickoff team will allow another big return like that. I think that was just a fluke, and Marshall actually had good blocking down field on that one.
Our field goal team...EHHHH...if our offense plays like it did, and should...we wont need to worry about them getting on the field that often.
All in all, I was impressed with how we came out to play on the OPENING week...and I believe Miami should be the ones worried next week, not the Bucks...that stadium is GONNA BE ROCKIN!

| Look Pryor's one downer has been his decision making and I'll I'm saying is is that he didn't look like he improved on that at all. Is he throwing the ball better? Yeah sweet as long as he does throw into double coverage. I was just really looking forward to seeing him play smart and he really didn't.
Special teams are huge if you ask me. So when I see Marshall gaining huge yards on a kickoff return and blocking two of our kicks yeah it's gonna worry me and it should worry you. Hopefully these problems will be dealt with.

| Our local radio guys have a firm grasp of Pryor's nuts right now. They were impressed by his arm and decision making yesterday and even think Marshall is better then people think. | |

| Pryor falling and falling hard is the only thing I am concerned about this year in college football. | |
