Edgar vs Aldo

Aldo has talked about fighting at LW in the UFC before.With Edgar now champ,how would this fight go?I think Aldo matches up very well with Edgar.His leg kicks would slow Edgar down a lot and he is probably about the same size.His hands aren't as good,but he's prob just as fast and hits a lot harder.I think he has a better shot at Frankie than he would've against penn

If Edgar is taking BJ Penn down all of a sudden at will don't his chances increase of taking Aldo down?

Abso-freakin-lutely. Edgar wins this fight. I'm almost sure of it now. We may have a fighter as quick as Aldo now, and he can wrestle. If you were to ask me for a blue print on how to beat Aldo, it'd be a fighter like Edgar. Frankie Edgar has now become my new number 3 p4p guy(with Gray Maynard nipping at his heals; can't wait for that fight now).

So you attribute the takedowns to Edgar upgrading his prowess? That's the question this fight leaves.

We'll be able to answer the debate about this fight a little more clearly after the Maynard fight.
