Im kind of leaning towards Noons as well. I have a strong feeling cuts are going to come into play again. Noons punches are like razors if anything and surgery or not, the Smith and Zaromskis fights show that Diaz still cuts fairly easily post-surgery...and let's face it, Diaz is getting hit in this fight...he always gets hit.

Unless Diaz takes him down and rips his shoulder out...

Diaz has not exactly proven to be all that great at taking people down while Noons has proven to be very good at not going getting taken down...most notably against Nick Diaz.


I think Diaz will stand and bang at the start just like last time...but we'll see if he's busted up and blind from his own blood by the time he realizes "i got nothing on this guy in the standup...i need to get this to the ground".

. Noons needs to avoid throwing body kicks and just take all the openings Nick will give him to punch him. Don't engage in reckless exchanges and Diaz will have a hard time getting him down.

I'm not 100% on Noons or anything. Diaz obviously has a huge advantage in certain areas but so does Noons...Diaz is a strong boxer in MMA but his open and pretty much defenseless style is something Noons has exploited and can exploit again.

Diaz's style is predicated on giving Noons counter opportunities. Unless Diaz changes MO's completely, he is doing exactly what Noons wants.
