| Meldrick Taylor not being able to hold off Chavez long enough
Holyfield getting ko'd by Toney. It's the last time I watched him fight.
Luis Resto/Antonio Margarito
Muhammad and Larry......and I don't even like Ali all that much.
I remember as a kid being all tore up over watching Boom Boom lose to Bramble.

| I'm going to stick to things I saw as they happened. In no order
-Realizing Jimmy Garcia was in danger of dying at the hands of Gabe Ruelas in about the fifth round and wondering why no one else could see it.
-Alexis Arguello slumping to the canvas in round 14 after being stopped by Aaron Pryor.
-Ali against Larry Holmes
-I didn't know this 'til later but Luis Resto-Billy Collins on the Duran-Moore undercard.
-Ali not being able to keep Leon Spinks off him.

I've brayed long and loud about how I thought Richard Steele did the right thing but it was impossible not to feel terrible for Meldrick who fought so valiantly. Boom Boom-Bramble is a good call too. I still love that Bramble came in to Buffalo Soldier...in Buffalo!

| Bramble sure was a character
good adds winston and marble my pops was a huge Ali fan and I can remeber growing up hearing about the Spinks and Holmes fights and how hard they were to watch
you know how you have an idea of how bad something can be but you really dont until you actually see it and realize wow, it really was that bad

| I'll just do ones I've seen (in no particular order)
Arturo Gatti getting dominated and having no answers for some scrub off the Contender
Any moment in the Mike Tyson comeback efforts
Jermain Taylor getting battered after running out of gas in multiple fights that he was winning
Looking back on Margarito-Cotto thinking about plaster hands
Despite Manny being my favorite fighter, it was sad watching Morales just get decimated the last time out

I still hurt over that fight because I wanted Meldrick to win so bad. I hear ya. There haven't been very man losing fighters who deserved better than Meldrick did that night. Highly fit, enormously skilled, fast, fast, fast, tough as nails and fearless. The last might have cut both ways though. What a magnificent fight he put on.

| I'm going to add two more moments that I saw.
-The look on Nigel Benn's face changing from joy to horror when he hears Gerald MClellan was in physical distress.
-The audible groan Oscar Diaz utterred before collapsing in the corner of his FNF with Delvin Rodriguez.

| one that comes to mind was freddie cadenas throwing up in his corner during his bout against jesse feliciano. oscar suarez had told cadenas that he hadn't properly trained for this fight. cadenas went into a seizure and almost lost his life and many believe it was a diet that buddy mcgirt placed him on. anyways his career was over and he murdered some guy afterwards here's the story http://www.saddoboxing.com/2541-the-tragic-fall-of-freddie-cadena.htmlanother one that stands out is agapito sanchez being murder by some punk officer at a bar. idk if the topic refers to only in the ring so my bad. anyways i actually felt sad watching izzy vazquez in his last fight. the guy's actually a class act as he calls fights now from time to time in telefutura and he was beaten before he stepped into that ring for the 4th marquez fight. | |

| actualy none of them good choices..mine was watching truly a great fight between mancini and kim..the fight was magnificent as both fighters fought with strong determination and conviction and a huge desire to win..the end result even today saddens me..what killed kim maybe wasnt mancini but kims incredible heart that night....the young man went into the ring thinking its do or die..he fought with such determination in the spirit of the only way ill give up is that you have to kill me..unfortunetly thats what happened to a proud warrior that night..hes still praised and honored in his country today for that magnificent performance..i wish he lived to see and feel and enjoy his countries embrace of that respect... | |

| There are so many I can't really place them in order of severity. I'm sure there are some brutal ones I've repressed or someone else here has already mentioned.
42 Ray Leonard's ill advised comeback loss to Hector Camacho SRL's one sided beat down loss to Terry Norris Cotto's face being smashed-in in the late rounds of the Margacheato fight The Mayweather / JMM promotion

I love this list and would like to add. Oscar getting killed by Manny. I hated watching Oscar go out sitting on his stool. |

| I detest the moments when you see HOF fighters who don't know how to walk away. Rather than focus on historical ones that bothered me, I'll just go with some that are recent:
Watching MAB bloodied and outclassed by Khan Reading the interviews on boxingscene regarding Morales's upcoming fight with Limond Watching Roy Jones get KTFO'd by Danny Green Seeing a 41 yr old James Toney, fat, and out of shape, trying to get ready for an MMA fight Valuev going down to injury, thus not gracing us with a display of pure artistry during 2010

Seeing toney's fat self get ready to get destroyed in a mixed martial arts fight is sad. James is one of my favorite fighters of all-time.
