Wu Tang Clan : 36 Chambers
DMX : It's Dark And Hell Is Hot, And Then There Was X, Flesh...( I forget what it's called.)
Dr Dre : 2001,The Chronic
NWA; Straight Out Of Compton
Jay Z : The Black Album
Public Enemy : It takes a nation of millions to hold us back

jay z : the black album is by far jay z's best work. i can listen to that one front to back.

Not a huge Hip Hop fan but here is my list.

because they aren't watered down and are in no way influenced by pop music. They talk about real issues in the world instead of getting money, bitches, and well you know the usual bullshit most current "rappers" talk about on 99% of their tracks.

uhh i like alot of classic rock. Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, Hendrix, Doors
also some current like Sublime, red hit chili peppers ect. Also like reggae and shit.

dude if ur looking for a fight about music go elsewhere. Im not saying all music has to have a political message, im just saying that i prefer rappers who talk about real issues in the world compared to rappers who only talk about materialistic things like money and guns and killing people
