| Well looks like my boy forrest is more interested in selling books but atleast he is honest cause jones is just too fast for him as we all knew this. Come on griffin just step up man or give it to franklin. I hope I am not fighting Jon 'Bones' Jones. I might be. F*ck it; if I am, I am. I will do it, but I am not even training right now. That is a bad dude. That dude will whoop my ass. F*ck it. What is the worst, I mean, it could not be worse than Anderson Silva. It should not be worse than that, right? Every fight I go into, no matter what happens, it could not be worse than Anderson Silva. Because that sh*t was a year ago and literally every day people ask me something about that - 'What happened? What happened?' [Anderson punched me in the chin] Repeatedly and I was very confused. I tried to punch him and he literally moved his head out of the way and looked at me like I was stupid for doing it. He looked at me like - 'Why would you do such a stupid thing?' He looked at me like - 'Oh, did you really think you were going to hit me? What a stupid thing to think, you slow slow white boy.' Then he punched me. I felt embarrassed for even trying to punch him." Forrest http://www.mmamania.com/ | |

| It was an awesome interview. And he's right, he's got nothing for Jones. I would kind of like to see Forrest fight Brandon Vera. | |

| He could easily beat Jones. Anderson Silva is the best striker of all time. Jones isn't even close to that. He's just selling his underdog routine here guys. Come on. | |

Bull shit. No 1 is beating Bones easily and BTW isnt this routine played out?? Every time he fights now he talks about how he has no shot. He did it with lil Nog and now with Bones. He is maybe 1 of the most overrated fighters ever in my opion.

| I meant easily in the figure of speech context, should have said "just as easily" or "very well easily" | |

Either way I don't see Forrest having a chance against Bones. I would say first round tko or early in the second.

| So Forrest overachieved with wins over Shogun and Page? I believe he did, but not to the point he wouldn't have a chance to beat the very green Bones Jones.

| I hope Forrest refuses to face Bones, he'll just be used as a sacrificial lamb. |

If he starts refusing big fights he should just go ahead and retire.

If he starts refusing big fights he should just go ahead and retire. Bones isn't a big fight he's a huge risk low reward type of fight, if Forrest won people will just say Bones was rushed, exposed or overhyped, there wouldn't be alot of glory in victory for Forrest. I desperately want to see Forrest vs Franklin.

I desperately want to see Forrest vs Franklin. Low reward?? If Forrest beat Bones he would jump right into title talk in my opion. Any1 beating Bones right now is a huge win for them.

| I'd be surprised if a win over Bones earned Forrest a title shot, especially when he's got Evans,Lil Nog,Franklin and Machida infront of him |

Because Minotoro has won 7 straight and his last 2 in the UFC. Franklin just flash KO'd Chuck Liddell. Forrest may be just ahead of Franklin at this point but no way is he above Minotoro.

| Franklin perhaps isn't that far ahead of Forrest but he's definitely in the conversation for a future title shot.
I really don't want to see Forrest used as a stepping stone by Bones. I know it's all part of the sport to face upcoming prospects but the Anderson Silva humiliation was hard to watch, Jon is such a physical specimen he's capable of doing the same if not more. |

| This isn't a bad fight at all, but it's value is significantly weakened by everyone dismissing Forrest's chances. | |

You can't blame us when you look at the way Bones dispatched Bonnar,Vera,Hamil and The Janitor. |

No title fights except for Vlad who got one on a weeks notice in 2001 BC. Just saying.

| That Forrest has fought at a much higher level over the course of his career than Bones opponents have. | |

But Forrest isn't the same person who subbed Rua and kicked Rampage around the octagon, he's on the decline and could possible run into a phenom. Vera's past opponents haven't exactly been scrubs. |

| Vera was certainly heading down a decline when Bones flattened him. Forrest isn't declining. He's the same fighter he has been. Anderson would have always done that too him, Tito would always fight that close with him(he fought that close with Rashad too) and until Rashad caught him he was winning that engagement. | |
