it's funny. I think tennis actually has a lot in common with boxing.
Individual sport, ebbs and flows, test of will, often a competition between power and craft, lots of tactical adjustments, stamina matters, mental toughness matters.

Course, full contact tennis would be better

And that is what I don't respect about Tennis and Golf. How can a professional athlete that has spent countless hours perfecting his craft be affected by a single person yelling? It simply amazes me.

Because they spend countless hours perfecting their craft in silence. They're not trained for the noise. I'm sure if that prepared for it they could deal with it. Golf would be hard because everything depends on a single swing.
