Anyone think Arreola does anything resembling physical activity between camps and fights. When this fight ends and he won't have a fight till december. He probably doesn't do a darn bit of physical activity till October (unless you count 12 ounce curls).

Is it possible for a guy to win every minute of every round and still be regressing?

I actually suspect that is fairly common behavior these days among major fighters. It baffles me, but I think these guys stay away from the gym for MONTHS at a time. Crazy.

You beat me to it Marble. You know Teddy is on a cell phone (if he knows how to use one-you never know with Teddy), during the commercial break. He's calling Povetkin, telling him he has a fight that HBO might buy and he'll win easily.

I should have been a boxer. IF his fat ass can be a top 10 guy I might be able to.

Normal people will go for a hike, a run, a bikeride, play a rec league game for basketball, soccer, whatever.

Boxers train for 6-8 weeks. Fight. Then think it is a travesty to do anything physical for the next 3 months.

Arreola looks so bad.

Yes, Povetkin has been fighting soft competition to gel with Teddy, it's time for an opponent who can actually fire back.

5AM-Alarm clock goes off for morning run. Arreola turns off clock and goes back to sleep.

7am-Two breakfast Burritos

8am-Nap

10am-Goes to gym, stops on way at Krispy Kreme

11-11:30 bullshits with friends while wrapping hands.

11:30-12-Incorrect footwork drills, three rounds on heavybag

12 Slurpee

If Quezada had any power I'd say he could land something in rounds 10-12 to put Arreola on his butt.

Arreola's training schedule is good for someone like me, not for a professional boxer.

Are you sure that is Arreola's training schedule OR Butterbean's old schedule.

A pro fighter oughtta be in the gym five days a week even when he doesn't have a fight scheduled. he doesn't have to spar, he doesn't have to push it. But he has to stay fit and stay somewhat sharp. There is no excuse for really needing more than four weeks to prepare for a sudden opportunity.
