I've seen several interviews following the fight where he sounds like a guy who is way too humble. I'm kind of a fan again and I'm starting to rationalize his behavior in the Leites/Maia fights a little more. Basically, Leites wouldn't engage and Maia came rushing in after losing the first three rounds. Why give him a puncher's chance when the fight is over or his just throwing wild shots to set up a takedown? I hope he destroys Vitor, who probably doesn't deserve his shot.

He was certainly humble in the octagon after the fight. Bowing at Sonnen's feet. Ultimate show of respect for all to see.

I've always liked Silva, didn't like the antics, but agree, he was frustrated by the lack of competition.
