| I think he can hang. He'd def box the ears off both guys. But it's all about the takedowns, showed a little defense last night, but Nelson is not a collegiate wrestling champion. And despite what the scales say, he's a small heavy. Brock of coarse is a huge heavy.
Not digging the argument of "Brock has only been able to take down non-wrestlers" cause on the other hand, only an olympic wrestler, and a monstrous juco champ have been able to stop em.
Cain has not faced wrestlers of that caliber yet in the cage.
Im also a little wary of the punishment that both Roy and Mirko were able to absorb. I know Jr has a ton of KO's, but in a couple fights, I almost want to question his power.

| You question proven knockout strikers power when an occassional guy survives a beating he was rocked and wobbled multiple times in?
Brock isn't a national college champion level wrestler. He was one ten years ago, then didn't wrestle at all for 8 years. This shit aint like riding a bike fellas. Mark Munoz and Cole Konrad were a D1 champions as well. They have very blockable shots. Capt, tim, me and you guys are "hardcore" mma fans who are privy to information and analysis the average joe is not. Why then are we still buying into the "muscles + wrestling title ten years ago = unblockable takedowns" nonsense. It's embarrassing guys.

| Listen i dont think brock is unbeatable not even close I just like him to beat Cain. I am terrified that JDS will out box Brock and beat him up. I am a huge Brock fan so sometimes it may sound like i think he cant be beat but i do understand every1 can be beaten. Wolf u are more high on Cain than I am and thats fine but JDS is a guy that scares me as an opponent for Brock. | |

It's embarrassing guys. 1)Please tell me where I said Brock has unblockable takedowns. 2)correct me if Im wrong, but Brock won the fights in which his takedowns were stuffed right? 3)Despite still being unbelievably green to the sport, the guy is 5-1 vs very high caliber opponents. Acting like his size and wrestling from 10 yrs ago does not play a part in that is foolish.

| and just a little math here. Brock won his NCAA title in 2000, his first MMA fight was in 2007, and he prob trained a year prior to that. So there is about a 6 yr window between his collegiate wrestling, and his MMA training. Lets not expand that window by 67% for the sake of argument. | |

| He started training for MMA in 2007, the same year he had the fight. | |

| JDS will gas out like last night when he fights guys like Cain or Brock. Cain is just better, and Brock isn't gonna stand with him. JDS will look like Mir did against Brock. Stuffing a slow and weak TD by Roy is way easier then stuffing a Brock Lesnar TD. Wolf stop with the Brock can't take people down crap. He took down Carwin and Couture and won the fights. Brock Lesnar is a 285lbs monster with speed that will smother JDS. Cain worries me as did Carwin. JDS is just a weaker Mir with better boxing imo. Brock exposes JDS in the late first or second round. | |

| He took Carwin down when Frankie Edgar could have taken him down. He beat a slowed Couture with a punch that would never hit or rock Dos Santos. Neither win compares.
I used to think Lesnar would take dude down and maul him. Not so much now. Dos Santos has a great chin and those short range hammerfists will not hurt him. CC and Nelson, both knockout punchers, landed power punches standing and he wasn't even phased.
Dude cannot Fitch Dos Santos for five rounds. No way in hell.

Dude cannot Fitch Dos Santos for five rounds. No way in hell. He won't in 5 rounds because Lesnar or Cain will do it in two. JDS looked gassed in the 2nd round against a punching bag. You are wrong Wolf. JDS better get a KO if he wants to beat either of them.

| Wolf's hate for Brock is funny. The only fighters who can beat him are Fedor and Carwin. |

| Your overrating him is funny. Only Fedor and Carwin and Cain and Nelson and JDS and Antonio Silva and Fabricio Werdum and Alistar Overeem ect can beat him. I wouldn't give him much more than 50-60% odds against any of those fighters. | |

| My opinion has always been Brock isn't the best HW and there are numerous other top ten guys who would defeat him. It hasn't changed. It's not hate to think a fighter is overrated. Stop this guys. - Quote :

| I'm probably the biggest Brock fan on here. The guy is a huge reason of why I even turned into a diehard MMA fan. That being said, while I do disagree with Wolf on topics relating to Brock and think that at times he has a dislike for him that makes him biased when discussing him, the other side has been even more annoying since Brock's comeback win over Carwin. Some of the things I've read on here just have me rolling my eyes at times. Brock showed a lot of flaws in that fight and is not unbeatable by any stretch of the imagination. While I will be picking him to beat Cain, to act like there are only 2 men capable of beating Lesnar is foolish IMO. The guy has holes in his game that you would expect from someone with as few pro fights as he does that could definitely be exploited by top level competition | |

Not my fault you skipped a UFC to watch Twilight homie. lol at Stop this guys. Wolf you need to stop. I can see some of those guys beating Brock, but you act like he is a gatekeeper and doesn't have a chance all of the time. JDS needs a quick KO or the HULK is gonna rape him period!!!! No way does a guy who was gassed from punching Nelson for a round get away from a guy like Brock. Nelson had him against the fence for a minute also. What do you think Brock would have done if he was Roy last night? I will answer that...He would have dumped JDS and pounded the shit out of him. Brock will murder JDS if he beats Cain. Cain will muder JDS if he beats Brock.
