WTF? Why does Canada get so many good fights.

If these 2 fights were at a bowling ally I would be excited for them so the fact they are in Canada means little to me.

Sorry guys, bash me if you want, this is a joke. Cain has not earned this title shot after that pathetic performance on FOX 1.

He may not have earned it like you would usually see, but with Ubereem suspended, Cormier injured and still in SF anyway, Frank now used up, and Werdum only coming off one win since losing to Overeem himself. Nothing wrong with Cain getting the shot here.

No other fighter is worthy. Who would you rather get the shot Bird?

Its seriously on par with giving Hatton a rematch against Pac after getting crushed.

Hunt is on a 3 fight win streak with wins over Tuscherer (Brocks sparring partner so ya), Ben Rothwell (legit top 20) and Cheick Kongo (top 20-25) , Russow is on 11 fight win streak with wins over Todd Duffee, Jon Madsen and the Viking Einomo.

I think winner of Werdum vs Russow should get next title shot.

I would rather see that than the rematch of the guy who got smashed in 64 seconds not even a year ago.

Barnett lost and easily to a guy that wasn't in the top 5 and not the champ. Cain was the champ and lost the title in his first fight back of surgery. He deserves the shot.

Cain got blasted by Cigano when Cain was still trying to feel out JDS, I think thats the main reason he blitzed Big Foot.

How do you think that will work out vs JDS in the rematch?

I actually think it helped Cain to get KOed so fast rather than get beat up for 4 or 5 rounds. I think alot of fans think Cain was rusty and coming off of injury and thats why he looked the way he did. So after beating Big Foot down every1 says now thats the Cain we know and love so let him fight JDS when he is 100% and the outcome maybe different. It may not be true but I do think that is the logic behind such a fast rematch.
