| I'd accept that. Williams' "most feared" jive is just a joke at this point.
add- I'd love to see Dzinzzzuririrzzzuik get a decent fight.

| I am baffled Williams doesn't want this fight. He clearly has a shot to win and if he does he's going to have clear sailing in that division for 3-4 years. | |

| He knows deep down that Martinez beat him up. Cintron tagged him a couple of times before he leaped out of the ring and pretended to be hurt. Williams would prefer to pick on smaller men. | |

| Seeing as Pavlik and Williams seem hell bent on ducking the champ, maybe they should fight each other - I'm sure the WBC would sanction it for some sort of precious metal trinket. | |

I always wondered what a zinc belt might look like.

...yep your right..champ in recess inter champ and diamond belt...hell its 3 titles for that fight.it deserves no less..but one thing is dont call it a mandatory since both turned down martinez..hmmmm..williams star is no longer shiiny nor is he feared anymore..martinez n citron proved that..prediction if williams gets serious fighting serious fights he will get koed the next year and a half or sooner..

| Like Canvas said, PW does prefer to fight the welters as they don't punch with the power of Martinez or Cintron. Martinez put a little bit on to PW's ass, and I believe he won the fight. Cintron landed a few bombs in their short fight.
PW is looking for big money at 147. He won't get it, because he's the most feared fighter in boxing. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am still confused to how in the hell PW got the win in that Cintron fight. |

| Surprised HBO wants Williams vs Sergei D, he's a name they've turned down in the past.
Angulo vs Martinez should be pretty one sided unless Sergio gets careless or old overnight. |

| HBO probably wants PW in the mix at 154 and 160, not 147. They understand that he probably isn't going to get any big fights at 147. They'll take Sergei D, if they can set up Martinez on a separate card. Then if PW and Martinez have prevailed, they'll push even harder for him to give Martinez a rematch. | |

Good point. I haven't the vaguest idea how old Sergio is in ring years. Started late, doesn't seem to have been in a lot of wars, but also technically sketchy. I suspect when he goes? He'll go fast and hard.

| Sergio is a late bloomer like Calzaghe, but he impresses me more because of how late he started. His fitness is off the roof because he use to be a bike rider in his youth, and he also played soccer. My guess is Martinez has about one year at the top left, two maximum, he's 35 right now. |

| Yeah, 1-2 years is a good guess for the max that Martinez is able to continue fighting at a high level. | |
