| Now see THAT fight shows the mistake made on FNF last night. Anyone think Bika did what he did on purpose? Anybody think it matters? | |

I don't think he did it on purpose. Bika has always fought out-of-control and somewhat dirty. | |

| I agreed with you last night Marble.
Unfortunately last night we had an inept ref and comission.
If in a competitive first round, that punch after the bell had occurred, and he was as messed up as he was, then it would have been a DQ. But because he was on his way to being stopped, the ref didn't seem willing to allow it to be a DQ (nor the commissioner). That is my opinion as to what happened last night.
And that is completely wrong.
George was losing. Probably gets stopped later.
I asked myself 2 questions last night: Would George have been able to continue fighting if the 2 late punches didn't occur? YES. Did the punch happen after the bell? Yes. DQ!!!!
Teddy Atlas seemed to insinuate a little bit that Don George's team was angling for a DQ. Maybe they were, but it doesn't change the fact that the kid wasn't faking. He really was messed up by that shot. If the ref had counted for a good 30 seconds George probably doesn't get up on his own. he was knocked out.
