Nate Diaz signs 4 fight deal with UFC

Nate lost to Gray Maynard 30-27. Maynard out boxed him and he is a wrestler with arms like three feet shorter. Nate's weak arm punches grazing off Maynard's defense didn't win shit. Only the Diaz camp and a few weirdos saw that for Diaz. Enough said. Nate Diaz only threatens fighters with bad striking, bad submission defense and bad wrestling. If you're good not great in any two of those you'll probably win. Diaz only top level skill is his guard. Werdum Roycing the goat aside, guard players are still a rare species in evolved 2010 MMA.

Diaz isn't even a solid gatekeeper at 170 because beating him reflects nothing on your ability to hang with the wrestlers in the division.

Maynard 30-27 is the worst judging in the history of the planet. Bisping over Hammill thinks that is fucked up.

Diaz owned him in the standup. Watch that fight again Wolf.

I remember calling that fight kinda on a thread here and I commented how I was ready for others to not really see what was happening and score it for Diaz. Nothing he landed actually landed. Maynard landed all the crisp power punches. Forearms grazing the top of a defended head =/= strike landed.

I had it 30-27 Maynard, he landed the more significant shots in the fight, the boxing was close, but Gray landed harder shots.

Well I am not a Nate fan, in fact I do not like him or his attitude, but I like his fights, they are entertaining. Sorry Tex-I mean Sooner, but I had the fight 30-27 too.

Do you even know the fights I lost? All very close fights, most of them with the slight underdog. IMO Robbie won that fight vs Babalu, I have watched it again since my original thoughts and still believe it. Also come on how close did Carwin get to winning that fight? The other fight I lost was Batman...a fight that you posted "Kurt might have stole that fight" before the results were announced. dude you know how it is sooners. It's the popular thing right now to hate on the diaz bro's and not give them any credit and everyone on this board is doing it. Nate is a gatekeeper? Not quite. He'll get stronger at WW and he has some of the best jiu jitsu in the whole fucking sport and anyone who denies that doesn't know enough about mma to even have an opinion on it. His boxing is getting better, not that it's bad right now and as he get's more used to the weight class he will get stronger. Thought the power increase was pretty significant in his last fight, but saying pitter patter makes me sound cool so i'll go with that. Nates punches are so weak internet fans can take them on the chin and continue to blast him and give him no credit. He'll be a top 10 ww by the end of the year.

Not right now he isn't, but he has said before whatever weight class he can get the best fights and most money.

I don't think much of him at either weight but he will get absolutely mauled by the current upper half of the WW division. I'd stay at LW if I were him

He has much more power at Welterweight, going to 155 for him is like Joachim moving to 145. No power in his strikes anymore.
