Would Duffee vs Carwin interest anyone?

It doesn't look powerful at first, but I think the angle was deceptive. Still, not a good sign when Carwin is on deck. I still want to see this bout.

UFC needs to market Carwin in th right way now after a loss against Brock. I think this fight makes since. It would be a win-win for UFC. It would be a great KO in the first or 2nd round. I think it should happen. Who would be the better guy to fight Carwin next anyways? I would say CC, but after what he has stated I am looking at someone else and Duffe makes since. It is the most marketable fight for Carwin or Duffe IMO.

Carwin vs Cro Cop, Roy Nelson JDS winner or loser, Big Nog, and Struve all make more sense than Duffee IMO

That wouldn't be a terrible fight for Shane anyway. Rothwell is a big guy with heavy hands who likes to bang so the fight would be interesting until Carwin hit the maul switch. Rothwell has been ranked in some top ten lists too and is a decently respected fighter.

I like the rothwell angle as well. A gimme for Carwin, but at least he's established, and coming off a win, unlike Duffee.

Rothwell aint no gimmie. No fight is a gimmie for Carwin now that a game plan to beat him has been created. Run for the first round and wait for him to tire.

Wolf u've already argued that thinking Brock's game plan was to get pummeled for 1 rnd and come back in the 2nd is ridiculous.

And Carwin tired himself out by throwing a hundred or so strikes. Running for a rnd will not tire Carwin out. Carwin will thrash Rothwell. And I'd love to see it.

I'm not gonna read this whole thread but I'm with Ali, this would be a huge step down for Shane. Duffee needs to work his way up and Shane doesn't deserve to be dropped so low after losing to the champ.

Bad fight for Duffee. He needs more seasoning before he takes on someone of Carwin's stature.

I'm more interested in Russow vs Carwin, not that a cCarwin/Duffe match would not be cool as well.

I am feeling a little jap/fujita ish. I want to see how much damage Russow can take before his head spills peanut butter or he wins.

Duffee vs Barry makes alot of sense right now, I am surprised the UFC hasn't already scheduled it.

Pat Berry has broken hands and feet. I don't know if his timetable for return is even known yet.
