Leben was impressive. But so was most of the fights tonight.

Meh, Sexyama gassed in the second round and couldn't pounce when he rocked Leben's skull.

Leben won another classic Leben brawl. Chris Leben could concievably move closer to being a more conventional type of legend with a Wanderlei Silva victory.

Sexy has an iron chin too between this fight and that Belcher one. If he doesn't get caught it should've been a clear decision win but who knows

I'm just going off what I remember but I had Sexy with a clear 1st round and definitely was winning the 3rd until he got caught. The only thing I remember about the 2nd was Leben hurting him but then Sexy making Leben zombie walk for about a minute.

I had Sexy winning 30-27, and just checked a couple places that all had him winning the first 2, not many intelligent peeps had him losing.

I remember Judo in the first round and not much of the third.

1)props to Wolf he rolled with the Leben legend argument b4 he even signed on to this fight. Then he takes the fight on 2 weeks turnaround, and pulls off an epic win. Leben backed up Wolf perfectly, and yes Leben earned legendary status.

2)I know injuries keep it from happening short term but Leben vs Wandy would be brilliant.


3)As far as the fight goes. I thought it was close, Aki rnd 1, possibly Leben 2, 3rd rnd was all leben, dominating from bottom position.

amazing thing is you know Leben couldnt have gotten hardly any time in the gym for Akiyama with a 2 week turnaround

fighting Akiyama the same night he fought Simpson would have been easier than given a 2 week window IMO
