White also said the buzz surrounding the Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin headlining bout will likely produce a pay-per-view blockbuster, and the UFC exec said the promotion is anticipating more than 1 million buys.

"I think there's a lot of interest in this fight," White told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). "People always like to see the heavyweights go at it."

It'll get 1.2 million buys I predict.

I expect it to do well, but you can never trust Dana's numbers.

They've been promoting the shit out of this. Billboards in Houston. On all the radio stations. Brocks been on espn. They're doing the weigh INS on tv. I say it does 1.4

1.4 is far from unreasonable. This could be the biggest UFC event ever. If it had a solid co-main or another title it would have been.

If Quinton Jackson and Rashad Evans did more than 900k than that means the ceiling for this could be 1.5. Granted Jackson and Evans drew from a different market than Lesnar does to a degree.

If this card which is fairly weak outside of have Brock vs. Carwin goes past 1.2 million buys, then the UFC can surpass 2 million buys in the next Brock PPV (barring he wins) if they just add 1 or 2 more stars.

I'll do my part and buy the card tonight. I've been going to the bar recently because I'm tired of paying ridiculous att bills every month, however, this main event warrants a buy IMO.

This should be a decent card.The fact you have two AMERICAN Heavyweights is something that is sadly lacking in boxing.I know of people who know little about MMA that are talking about this fight.

As good as this offering is,I can't wait for UFC 118.

Oh there are good American HW's. Problem is the Russians are so much better.
