| The first poll results were; 1 vote Paulo Filho 5 votes for BJ Penn 7 votes for Shinya Aoki
No votes shockingly for Maia. Werdum wasn't included.

| His flexibility makes his guard as dangerous as it is. There is a reason only GSP dares swim in those waters. No one else has a shark suit made of grease and giant muscular shoulders.
Let's see Frankie Edgar, Gray Maynard, Kenny Florian, Gilbert Melendez or Eddie Alvarez try out his guard. He would sub each and every one of them.

| Diaz bros have some pretty nice gaurds. Triangles, gogos and others off their back. | |

| I went with Maia, but I really think it should be for each division who is the most dangerous. Mine would go:
HW: Werdum, one of the most accomplished heavies at grappling. If it wasn't for Roger Gracie, he'd have won Abu Dabhi and the Mundials even more than he already has. The only reason I don't include Roger is because I don't know what weightclass he's fighting in and because I don't know if he plans on fighting much. LHW: Shogun, he'll sweep your bitch ass without trouble, then pound your face in. MW: Maia, with a close 2nd being Jacare. They're both otherworldly at submitting people. I gave it to Maia, because he transitioned it to MMA a little better. He does it quicker, less setting up than Jacare. WW: I'm thinking Nick Diaz, but I certainly wouldn't want to play in Hazelett's guard for too long. LW: BJ Penn is an easy choice. I know people think of Aoki as this amazing guard player, and he is for sure, but BJ is the Prodigy for a reason. His flexibility and ingenuity allow him to not only sweep and submit, but also do damage.
