Anyone see the Mike Straka interview with Bruce? Talks about how he and Frank Trigg got into a fight in an elevator with Dana White in there with them. Also why Michael stopped doing the UFC after UFC 9 I believe. WCW threatened to cut their contract because the UFC advertised how they were the only real event and WCW wanted stoops to think it was real. Bruce manages Michaels career and offered to take over for him and eventually the UFC gave him a shot.

Lennon is far and away better then Bruce. and this goes deeper then Bruce making a half ass attempt at stealing Lennon's signature call.

I've always liked Classy Jimmy Lennon Jr.

i just don't think his proper, low energy, mild tone works for MMA. I've always liked him for the boxing events but in MMA, you got the high energy Bruce Buffer and the screaming lady...Jimmy Lennon Jr's announcing style just seems out of place.

yeah landed and Hominick walked right threw em, both of em. Flo was creaming his pants.

Kenflo was trying to be as objective as possible there but that guy was a team member and Kenflo actually helped him prepare for that fight with the gameplan and in sparring. I don't fault him as much as I fault the WEC for not getting someone else who doesn't have a camp mate on the main freakin card. I doubt Jon Fitch would be so objective for a Koscheck fight.

I saw his call of Fedor in November of 2009...it sounded like a typical Classy Jimmy call.

No they don't. They get called a "UFC leftover" promotion enough as it is. They purposely avoid even good fighters right after the UFC releases them for this reason, and it serves them well. You don't go to Strikeforce and see guys you just saw losing in the UFC.

Getting cut from the UFC? You probably aint Strikeforce level right now either. That is at least Strikeforce's stance since they started getting big, and while that may sound strange at first, you got to dress for the job you want right?

How many fighters has Strikeforce signed right after their UFC loss? Make a list someone. They almost always let guys rebuild by getting some minor league wins, like Soko and Jesse Taylor. Werdum was a rare exception and the circumstances of his release weren't typical either.

Buffer is introducing fighter, not commentating. It's completely different. And I think he's the best in the business at what he does. He also seems like a cool ass guy judging from his radio show.

Rogan is good, I just get tired of hearing him sometimes. It's nice when they change it up a bit.

imo you can't be considered the best in the business when your signature call is a comically bad ripoff of a Lennon call.

I love Bruce's enthusiasm for the sport, he's full of passion and energy every time he announces the fighters.

Jimmy Lennon is respectable but his routine is very stale and lethargic, I don't get psyched up any time he says " It's Showtime."

Even Micheal's routine has become turgid, these past couple years he's treated it like a franchise and hasn't shown passion or excitement.

That's how I feel Ali. Bruce is the best. The most energy by far.

Michael C Williams is a great prospect though. I love the job he does at Bellator. Head to tail a great show.
