| Promoter Lou DiBella has advised BoxingScene.com that he made a serious offer to Golden Boy Promotions for a catch-weight bout between WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez and former two division champion Shane Mosley. Martinez is willing to defend his title against Mosley at the lowest possible catch-weight, 155-pounds. There appears to be no issue with Mosley receiving a bigger percentage of the money. DiBella made the pitch to Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer, who plans to pass the information to Mosley. Mosley's next fight is being targeted for September 18 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. One possible opponent being discussed is Sergio Mora. http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=28720 |

| If Sergio can't get Mayweather, this would be a good fight for him. | |

| Shane needs to accept this, I would hate to see his career ended by Sergio Mora. |

I agree Ali. Mora could give Mosley serious problems.

| i hope SM beats him bad..heres a guy thats champ and no one wants to fight him..well mosley your getting the higher percentasge of the cash which you do not deserve..155 lbs is a fair weight and its for the REAL legit middleweight title..if he says noo it will make me a non fan of shane.i like both guys but want SM to win because hes making every effort to get a fight done.. | |

| Martinez could give him more problems than Mora. Both are boxers but Martinez is a Mike Tyson type puncher compared to Mora. | |

Of course Martinez gives big problems for Mosley, but at least Martinez brings more attention and a shot at the middleweight title. Mora brings nothing for Mosley.

| You do realize that Mosley fighting at 160 is not a good idea.
Mosley at 135-amazing Mosley at 147-darn good Mosley at 154-so so Mosley at 160-gonna look bad

| I really don't care about the match up from Mosley's perspective, as it's time for him to move on to life after boxing. I'm just saying I want Martinez to get a showcase fight and it makes more sense for Shane than Mora.
also the fight would be at a contract weight of 155.
Shane may be tempted by the chance to end his career as the legit middleweight champ.
What Ali was saying, and I agree, is that Mora or Martinez could be trouble for Mosley. Of the two, I'd rather Shane go out against Martinez.

| 155 is the weight.martinez isnt to comfortable at 160..mosleys been there before 154..its overexagerated the so called size differnce cause in reality there is none..if thats all SM can muster up is a mosley fight thats sad but hes giving shane all the major points for sure.that credit belongs to both martinez and lou D..MORA IS A SAFER BET BUT MARTINEZ IS FOR A REAL TITLE..IT SHOULD BE A NO BRAINER FOR MOSLEY TO GO WITH SERGIO.. | |
