| I don't know if Mirko would win, but I know that Frank can't beat in the standing game. | |

| wolf is another mir hater so his comments also needed to be taken with a grain of salt.
cro cop, against Mir, would once again find himself at a big time height and reach disadvantage. He looked good against a guy who would be of average height at lhw, but against a big tall guy like Mir I see Cro Cop once again have trouble getting within range.
Lets think back one fight for each.
mir was one win away from another title fight.
Cro cop was(and still may be) on the brink of retirement.
I'd have to take Mir here.

| Mir was a fight away because he beat Lesnar in his second MMA fight and fought a shot, sick and injured Nog. I know Mir has upgraded his striking in a big way, but Mir's resurgance no one can deny is based on a lot of luck and favorable match ups. Anyone in the top ten would have knocked that Nog out that night. Lesnar wasn't close to top 50 when they fought and Mir barely survived two minutes with him. The only really impressive thing Mir has done in my mind is destroy Kongo.
Frank Mir is like Forrest Griffin. He has stumbled into a favorable situation that will ultimately end badly for him. He deserves a lot of credit for validating his career and making a strong comeback, but let's be realistic on who Frank Mir is.
A Crocop knockout victim.

| I am not a Mir hater. Frank Mir hasn't posted a quality win without a significant astrix since like 1999 until he beat Kongo. Facts is facts partner. | |

| People are reading too much into the Kongo KO. That giant looping overhand of death that split Kongo's guard would have resulted in a counter strike to Mir's legs that would have hobbled him on impact. | |

| just look at your sig/gif (or whatever it's called) Wolf, Cro Cop towers over Barry, and Barry is easily Cro Cop's best win since 2006. Even with the asterik's the guy's Mir has been beating put's the list Cro cop has been beating to shame. and the dudes Mir has been losing to would crush Cro Cop as well. | |

| Crocop would destroy Nog at this point. How horrific would it have been for a Nogueira if he had to face CC instead of Frank Mir? | |
