Mirko Cro Cop Injury????

Question, During his fight he threw a high head kick early in the first round

and didnt throw another one for the rest of the fight, did something happen during the fight or am I looking into this too much?


Just curious thought it was weird he didnt go for his bread and butter when he got him all cut up and on the run
the body kicks were great though

CC hasn't tried to throw a convincing headkick since he fired one off at Eddie Sanchez.

I think he felt sorry for the guy for real.

He appears to have lost confidence in them and has forgotten how to set them up it seems.

It may very well be a confidence issue, but it was also the most logical strategy given the situation. He was fighting a grappler who he was clearly dominating. He had no reason to throw a kick and risk a takedown when that was virtually the only way he could lose the fight.

His takedown defense was a clear indicator that strength and wrestlingwise, Mirko still had a huge advantage. He could have thrown more. I know his opponent did a lot of (smart)running at various points as well.

You know how your groin hurts when you try to lift your leg that high well thats whats happening to Cro Cop now look how fat he is and he will tire quick if he trys lifting his leg that high

good point wolf, he was Aussie was moving alot never standing with Mirko for the most part.

he even said he did. Dana asked why he didnt finish the guy and CC said he was too bloody and it just wasnt right. Im sorry but if CC keeps that attitude he will get his ass kicked next time around. CC also said he didnt want to get top control either cause he was 20-25 lbs heavier which I think is a joke. what would lesnar do to CC on the ground ITS A FUCKING HW FIGHT CC.
