I know and I agree that he shouldn't have to I'm just excited to see the fights if he actually does move up. But I def agree with you that he shouldn't have to.

| After Sonnen and Belfort he needs to move up to challenge himself. |

He doesn't NEED to do anything. Just do the job to the best of his ability....nevermind I digress....not getting into this again.

| Ahh you are making this very difficult to walk away from lol. What is wrong with being known as the most dominat, feared champion of all time? What is wrong with never losing a single fight in the UFC while making an entire divison seem inferior? What is wrong with doing so well that you give the owner nightmares because he knows he can't find anyone to compete with you. What can Dana do if Spider says no? Strip his belt for winning too many fights in a row? The guy is so dominate that people actually turn that into a negative. Now I hate the guy, I have never once rooted for the man to win a single fight. But damn he catches hate for winning too much, head scratching to me. | |

| Like I said this is all Dana mouth running speculation so why can't we speculate on what sweet matchups we might see. Who should Silva face first if he makes the jump? Who at 205 can compete with Silva in your opinions? | |

I said it about 3 years ago before Rashad hit his run at 205 that I liked that matcup. The speed and elusiveness of Rashad combined with his wrestling make it a good fight IMO. I don't think you can use what Machida did as a game plan for Spider. IMO Machida has much better balance and TD defense. Rashad would have much more success against Spider then Machida IMO. Besides that I would like to see him fight Jon Jones down the road. Yes he is unpolished but his length, athleticisim, take downs and unorthodox style would make things interesting IMO. So basically I think you need speed, athleticisim and wrestling to beat Spider. The better strikers might stand a punchers chance and also entertain.

| I agree if anyone's gonna give him fits it's gonna be a really good wrestler. But I don't want to see Silva va Machida because they will just set back and wait for each other the whole fight not just because of they're styles but also because they are friends. I would love to see if there is a striker in the LHW division that could hang with him on the feet but I doubt there is one. | |

Shogun and Rampage might be the funnest standup fights to watch with him. Rampage has a great chin an power but probably too slow. Shogun might be the most entertaining and competitive standup fight for him.
