| I was really impressed by how good Cotto looked. See Frank the guy is not shot. But I was also impressed by how tough Foreman was. |

| I wasn't that impressed by either. Cotto did what he had to do. But he still gets hit WAY too clean WAY too often. I thought his effort was thoroughly workmanlike and professional. But all through the fight I kept wondering how he'd stand up to a 154 puncher landing the shots Foreman did. I think he belongs at 147.
As for Foreman the guy is basically an amateur stylist masquerading as a pro. I mean no insult. But to have NO power at all means one had to be perfect. Very tough to do. Kid is clearly hard as nails.

Kid is clearly hard as nails. I think Cotto has learned and corrected some things in the ring. (his Jab and Footwork) IMO he will continue to progress and can make a lot of noise at 154. But I would like to see him fight Berto at 147. |

| like marble neither one impressed me..cotto is cotto..yes a improvement in balance and a jab that saw little action..hes a very good fighter always was but not a great one..far from it ..he has habits that are constant and will be exployted by another good fighter..foreman had heart and good footwork and nothing else..his footwork has a very noticable pattern to it and i feel manny stewart did nothing to prepare cotto to take advantage of that pattern by working on cottos timing and anticipation or reaction to that pattern..if he did his job fully with cotto the result would of been a ko inside 7.. | |

| I watched this fight last night and I was a huge fan of Foreman continuing to fight. When I saw him slip and get up and start limping.. I was quick to throw out the looking for an excuse card. But he kept fighting, even though his knee made it to where he had to stay practically stationary and trade, which was not good.. especially for him.
I enjoyed seeing Foremans toughness.

Cotto look good, not great. More work needs to be done, I saw some flaws in his defense. His footwork look good, his patience in the ring look good, his jab had snap behind it. Stewart will need to work hard with his defense Cotto needs to work the body more, his body shots are very effective. If Cotto could polish up those two areas, I think he will earn a lot more respect.
