At New York (HBO): Yuri Foreman vs. Miguel Cotto, 12 rounds, for Foreman's WBA junior middleweight title.
and some good fights on a stream:
At Neubrandenburg, Germany: Sebastian Sylvester vs. Roman Karmazin, 12 round, for Sylvester's IBF middleweight title; Steve Cunningham vs. Troy Ross, 12 rounds, for vacant IBF cruiserweight title.

| Best card of the year.
I'm taking Foreman with a UD. I'm saying Miguel starts slow and sloppy and doesn't find his rhythm until it's too late. |

| I think Foreman will be too big for Miguel and will cut him up with his jab, and wear him down for a late stoppage. I just feel Cotto is too small for the Jr Middleweight division at 5'7 and seems to be on the decline. |

| No love for Cotto? You kats seem to forget that Yuri has no power to speak of, and Miguel can bring it. I'll go with Cotto by UD, or a late round TKO. | |

Oh no I like Miguel, I just don't feel he's big enough for Jr Middleweight, plus he cuts so easy these days. Foreman might not have explosive power but he's a full grown man, Miguel has never fought at 154lb before, who knows how he'll react. |

| Yuri Foreman 5'11 with a 72" reach
Miguel Cotto 5'7 with a 67" reach
Maybe I am looking into the stats too much, Miguel is the superior more experienced boxer, but I think it's a risky fight for him. |

| I think Cotto might be a little more explosive at 154, he has that stocky build, I'm amazed that he's able to make 147. I think people are overrating Foreman a bit, he looked better then I think he is the last fight, since Santos was totally out of shape and hadn't fought in nearly a year and a half. I think Cotto brings speed and relentless pressure to win a decision over a passive Foreman.
Either way, it's going to work well for the Bobfather. Put your guy against a skilled but light punching boxer to see if he still has it. If he doesn't, you've created a new star to promote.

There's a height and reach difference, but Yuri can't crush a grape, and if he can't hurt Cotto, I don't see him winning, plus, look at Foreman's competition, who the fuck has he fought?

I wouldn't compare Foreman with Calsappy in any way, if that's what you're trying to do. It's also possible that Miguel is a bit shot after getting his ass kicked in his last fight with Pacquiao, so we shall see.

| Cotto needs to go back to being a body puncher. That was his most effective punch. Even with Cotto being "War Torn" i think as long as he doesnt receive a serious cut that he will win by UD. I'm going to the fight so i want my night capped off with a Cotto Victory. | |

The only problem with that is that you take quite a bit of punishement to the head being a body puncher, I don't know how much miguel is willing to take in order to give anymore. I think he stopped body punching as much after getting hurt and cut up against Zab.

Well im hoping he feels Foreman's power early and realizes that Foreman can't hurt him, once and if that happens i think Cotto will in good shape. Also i know Steward is gonna be working his ass off to kinda prove to people that he's still a good trainer and that his Talyor/Cintron experiment was a fluke.

| My prediction has everything to do with Miguel Cotto. I think he should've already retired. The beatings he's taken, legal or illegal, have put his life at risk. I don't think this fight should be taking place, though I'll tune in next week. | |

I don't believe Cotto will recieve a beating from the light hitting Foreman or that his "life is at risk".

I think everyone is wrong about Cotto. I dont think there is anything wrong with him. He just ran into a cheater and then he ran into a guy who is the number 1 p4p fighter in the world. Cotto will show you guys when he kills Foreman. |

Cotto is one of the best fighters of his day and would've destroyed Margarito if Antonio hadn't loaded his gloves. He is, by all accounts, a better fighter than Yuri Foreman, however there comes a time for all great champions to say goodbye.

Cotto is still a young fighter Frank, he's only 29, like somebody said, his 2 losses were against "hands of plaster" Margarito, a cheater, and Pacquiao, the best P4P fighter in the world. No shame in either one of those losses, and while he took a pretty good pounding, it's not like he got KTFO in either one of those fights. Foreman is a safe fight for Cotto, that's probably one of the reasons he chose it next, he should pick up another decent payday and if he wins the WBA World light middleweight title, like I believe he will, that will set up some other good money fights. Why not fight 2-3 more times, pick up another $10 million in purses while you still can, and then call it a career. P.S. If Cotto loses to or looks like shit against Foreman, then I would agree, retire A.S.A.P..
