| So Freddie wants him to retire after two straight losses? Probably not a bad idea. | |

| I love JMM, but no way does he beat this version of PacMan, Pac has done well at this weight and kept his power, JMM shouldn't move above 135. | |

| I love Marquez and his fighting spirit, but does anyone else think he is/will be past it by the time they would fight???
I honestly think that becomes an easier and easier fight for Pac for the following reasons:
1-Age
When Marquez and Pac last met, Marquez was 34 and a 1/2. By the time a fight would occur between the two fighters, Marquez will be 37 and a 1/2 (assuming a fight early next year).
2-Weight The fight would be above Marquez's best weight (135 at this point). Marquez probably can't go above 135 without decreased effectiveness. And Roach will make the fight at the highest weight possible as he knows Pac can carry a weight like 142 or 143 effectively and Marquez can't.
3-Wear and tear-Marquez has taken some damage since they last fought. First, Marquez TKOd Casamayor. But in the 11th round after a competitive bout. He KOd Diaz in the 9th, but after about 6 rounds that were a give and take WAR. And he got beat badly by Floyd.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to see them fight again. I scored the first 2 fights for Marquez and respect him greatly. I just feel that by the time the fight occurred, Marquez will be aged, fighting above his best weight, and with his more wear and tear by the recent wars.

| Pac has taken alot of fights against fighters that are not 100% of what they once were.
They have risk and he faces very good/great fighters, but Roach does a great job of matching his fighter. He said ODH was shot (and was right). He said Cotto wasn't the same as before the Margarito fight (and we all agree with that to some degree). I don't believe Hatton was 100% there anymore after Floyd bounced him off ring posts (not that Hatton was skilled enough to hang with Pac anyway). Clottey-a tough strong fighter in his prime, but he is known for being inactive in fights he is competitive.
Pac and Floyd. I think Floyd is still great. But do you notice Roach said Floyd's legs aren't the same. I believe that as well watching his last 2 fights. He is older and things begin to slow down a little bit.
It would still be a big risk for Pac, but it is to be noted that Floyd doesn't look as quick on his feet as he once did.
