| Like, really sucks.
These fights have needed to happen for two years. You'd have to think the UFC would make one of them sooner or later, win or lose with everyone's next fight.
Would nate win either of these fights?
That is all. | |

| Nate beats rich. To me Rich is the most overrated Champ other then tim sylvia the ufc has had. Seems like the ufc always put him in favorable matchups. Nate and hendo would be good. | |

What? Rich Franklin is a beast. He's great on the ground and the feet. He's got a great chin. He beat Wandy, he gave Hendo an excellent fight that I actually thought he had won, he's beaten just about everyone else (obviously not Nate). What more do you want?

| Yeah your right using his last two unimpressive performances to show how he is this BEAST!! He is a hard worker i give him that. But those great wins against matt hamill and travis lutter prove he is just such a great fighter. The evolution of mma has passed franklin thats all. He is a great guy but his time is done. He should have fought Luiz Cane that way he can see this himself. | |

| Nice post Wolfy, Nate is one of my favorite fighters and mad underrated, top 5 at MW for sho, I've wanted to see these Hendo and Rich fight Nate for a while it seems, Nate and Rich, Hendo and Nate, whatever make it happen already, I'm pickin Nate against Maia, even though that's a real clopse fight, hopefully downb the line we see these fights go down | |

I don't really know what you're trying to say here. Are you saying wins over Hamill and Lutter were bad wins? Because you may remember that Lutter was just given a shot at Anderson before it, and Hamill is a decent contender, and it was Rich's first fight at 205. I don't understand what would make you think that there was any sort of evolution of the sport that's passed him up when he's only looked bad against arguably the best fighter in the world, who by the way makes everyone look bad.

| Rich put a one sided beat down on Hamill, great win. Rich stamped a solid top twenty fighter in Nate Quarry into the deadzone with a single punch to the face. Rich knocked the shit out of a former top ten and title contender in Travis Lutter. Those are all awesome wins.
Rich is good, but sometimes over-rated. Luiz Cane would walk through him.
Nate would be a great match. I wouldn't have a solid pick for that.

| Looking at Ace's resume he's beaten Okami, Wand, Lutter, Quarry, Eastman, Hamill, Tanner (2x), and Shamrock. Now that's a solid group of wins. Not great but solid. The thing about Franklin is though he doesn't get upset. His losses are to the best fighters in the world. Machida, Silva, and Hendo, That's it.
If Rich doesn't get head butted and poked in the eye he may have very well been the first person to finish Hendo. Hendo was gassed and Rich was looking very crisp in that third round. If I remember correctly one judge actually gave all 3 rounds to Rich.
Back to topic... Rich & Dan are very obviously 2a and 2b at MW. So you'd think Nate would have to prove himself vs one of these guys to get a SECOND title shot. I doubt he ever fights Rich because I think Ace is set on 195 & 205. Now I could see Nate-Hendo happening around new years or Jan. If they each win their next fight they are on a collision course IMO.

| Nate wouldn't have a problem jumping up. He's huge for the weight he's at.
Nate vs Rich is a fight I really want to see.

Nate vs Rich is a fight I really want to see. I agree he could make the jump, but I don't see him doing it. Maybe if some rift happened between the two then they could make it happen, but I doubt that happens.

| Well the UFC has been doing a lot of catchweight fights with Franklin. Maybe they'll just throw Nate in a 195 pound contest here sooner or later. | |

| Nate is definitely an underrated guy. I'd love to see him fight Rich. I see him losing to Maia in this upcoming fight though personally. Definitely a close one though | |

| I'd like to see Nate fight them both. I think that Franklin and Hendo would both beat him however. | |

| Hendo at his absolute best would beat Nate 6 out of 10 times. Nate is damn good.
Nate beats Rich 6 of 10 times. All three of these guys are at a similar level.

There is nothing for rich anymore @ 205 he will lose thats why we have these catchweight bouts for him. He was a tough fighter and lost to every great fighter he has faced. I just think nate takes rich they are very similar fighters but nate seems more crisp.
